Surah Maryam is surah or chapter 19 of the Quran for a reason: 19 means the one and only. Maryam, or the Virgin Mary is the only woman to conceive a child without a father. Let me explain: 1 is the first, and 9 is the last of the single digits from 1 to 9. Lets say there are three students who got A in class for mathematics, and they are Ali, Ahmad and Umar. So the first alphabetically is Ali, and the last is Umar on the list. Now lets say for another subject, like English, the first student on the A list is Ali, and the last student is also the same student Ali, it means Ali is the one and only student who is on the A list because there is no other name on that list. In the case of Maryam, she is the first woman in history to have a child without a father, and she is the last woman do to so, meaning she is the one and only woman ever to have a child without a father. In other words, on the list of women who conceived without a male partner, Maryam is the first name on the list, and she is also the last name on the list, meaning she is the only name on that list. That is why she is called The Virgin Mary, a woman who conceived without sexual intercourse, thus remaining a virgin....She is also the one and only woman whose name is a title of a surah or chapter of the Quran.Thus on the list of chapters or surahs of the Quran named after a woman, Maryam is the first name on the list, and she is also the last on the list, because there is no other name on that list. Maryam is the one and only woman whose name is on that special list. 19 is a special number, maybe the most special number? Why? because it means La ilaha illallah, the Muslim declaration of faith that there is no god but Allah. It means the one and only. 19 is Allah's signature number, because, Allah is the first name on the list of God, and He is also the last name there, there is no other name on that list, there is no other god, they are all false gods, they do not deserve to be on that special list of God, Creator and Sustainer. Those who add gods to that list is guilty of the greatest sin, that of shirk. Thus we understand the two names of Allah which is The First (Al Awwal) andThe Last (Al Akhir), thus 19 means the one and only God..La ilaha illallah. Wallahu a'lam.....
As-salamu alaykum The number 19 is nowhere found in the sunnah, or am I wrong? If the Qur'an doesn't tell us about 19 and the Ahadith does not tell us about 19, then it is not something we should make up.

If the Qur'an doesn't tell us about 19 and the Ahadith does not tell us about 19, then it is not something we should make up.
