While I prefer the lean, mean original - I didn't always, but I'm older and, I think, wiser now - T2 is a beast of an action film. What I appreciate most about it is that Cameron maintains an undercurrent of horror, and uses the blank, insect alien-ness of the T-1000 to create a potent sense of unease. The reveal of "Janelle" and what it did to Todd remains one of my favourite horror moments. There's just something about the blend of penetrative violence, nighttime domesticity, and high technology that gets under my skin. * Shudder *
Since you won’t be watching the later films (and are a Sarah fan) you may want to look up Cameron’s alternate ending. Just search for T2 Future Coda on UA-cam. It puts a proper ending to the character stories, rather than the endless string of later flawed sequels.
IMHO, and not to start an argument that Chris almost certainly doesn't want in the thread, the Coda is as poor as anything from the sequels. Cameron cut it for a reason. It's tonally out of place, it looks like a scene from Back To The Future 2, and is less interesting for the characters. Sarah's certainty about the future drove her character. Ending it with uncertainty evolves her character, and is thematically more fitting.
The villiam in this film ( Robert Patrick) soon after was in the most slept on film ever. " Fire in The Sky"( based on true accounts of Travis Walton) The film I went to see in 93 was sold out so went to this and mind blown!!!
It boggles my mind this was not a huge film. Honestly I think it is as simple as a very poor trailer. There still is not a film on the topic that touches it!!!
@@jgsrhythm100 If you weren't aware, Fire in the Sky has been remastered and is being released on Bluray. I assume everyone knows Robert Patrick is currently on the PEACEMAKER series, playing his evil dad. Now THAT is a show prime for these reactioners,except that the dialog is fast and peppy, much of which would be missed by talking over it. But there's nothing else like it.
One of the best stunts of all time, actually flying the helicopter under the overpass with just barely enough clearance.
Younger viewers probably assume it's just more CGI, but it's a real stunt.
Very few stunt pilots would even attempt it.
Also, the camera crew refused to shoot it, so Cameron shot it himself with the help of a driver. They also did the stunt twice, shooting once from the front and once from behind.
nuts stunt, maybe even more nuts - when arnold runs from the pickup to the big rig, he really did that, that was arnold.
I don't know who was crazier: the pilot, Arnold, or Cameron. All I do know is that all three have to go to the same tailor to get their pants fitted for those big balls of theirs.
That helicopter pilot (Charles A. Tamburro) is definitely one of the best ever in this field; he flew helicopters in Vietnam and apparently got pretty good chops from doing that. He was also given a tiny part in the movie as the pilot who is told to "Get out!" and then leaps from the helicopter.
@@justaguy6129 They probably had the disaster of the helicopter crash during the filming of The Twilight Zone movie in mind and didn't want to held accountable if anything went wrong.
Robert Patrick’s performance was key to this film’s success!
What makes this cool is that everything just came together so perfectly, its almost as if the stars aligned. An example of would the fact that Linda Hamilton and the actor playing that one security guard had twins. No Parent Trap style effect but actual twin siblings costarring with each other.
The twins played in Gremlins 2.
I'm pretty sure the security guards were hired BECAUSE they were twins.
One of the greatest sequels of all time amazing classic Terminator 2: Judgement Day written and directed by James Cameron starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton and Robert Patrick. The soundtrack of the film is the music video of the song "You Could be Mine" single by Guns N' Roses and the line "Hasta la vista Baby" was ranked number 76 in the list of the American Film Institute (AFI) 100 Years...100 Movie Quotes. One Of The Best Sci Fi Action Movies Ever Made!
Rock star Billy Idol was almost cast as the Villainous T-1000, but got into a motorcycle accident injuring his leg.
Robert Patrick was cast instead, and gave us one of the most memorable movie villains.
There are some early storyboards that bear a striking resemblance to Idol.
The T-1000 was going to be in the first Terminator movie, but the technology didn't exist at the time, so the character didn't make an appearance till the sequel.
Oh interesting! It’s fascinating how the casting choice can really change a character.

Certainly wasn’t on my expectations list.
As an only child of a single mother vet, when I saw this in theaters at 7, was the 1st movie I cried at.
One of the great things about Alien, Predator and Terminator is that all three films had really good second films! These help establish them all as franchises.
And all three had terrible third (and fourth) films.
The alternate ending showed Sarah Conner seeing her grown son playing with his children,thus showing judgement day didn't happen.
Best scene, imo, was when Arnie comes out of the elevator just as Sarah rounds the corner. All she knows as she sees him is that the Terminator is back to kill her and cannot imagine he is the "good guy" this time around. The fear on her face as she backpedals was done perfectly.

I love the way Terminator's casualty count has a decimal place! I mean, in which scenario would you need to have say something point five as a casualty? When someone is half dead?

Putting in ".37" would've been a perfect touch.
That's for when he doesn't kill anyone, but he gives them such horrible PTSD that their lives are never the same and they only feel half alive ever after going forward.
In my head canon, the left number alone would indicate deaths but the right number would indicate not fractions but people who were alive but incapacitated. They would thus no longer an immediate threat if there were still active combatants to deal with first; the incapacitated figures could be mopped up at a later point. This of course would be a pre-programmed calculator for his routine combat function; not something specific to his new "programming" to not kill anyone.
7:19 After seeing this a couple of times, it occurred to me: If the T-1000 samples things by touch, and mimics simple objects, then the best it should be able to do with this guy is mimic his shoes. It never touched HIM directly.
I’d seen the movie many times before noticing the moment Sarah realized she had become a Terminator. At Dysons house, she was about to murder an innocent (?) human in order to change the future. So much good thoughtful story with the action in this movie.

If you pretty much forget that it's part of the Terminator franchise, Terminator: Salvation is a pretty good movie. Kinda Robocop meets Blade Runner. Really interesting themes, if a somewhat predictable arc.

A few favorite moments in the film: When the T1000 is flying the helicopter and shooting at the heroes, if you look quickly he has three arms. The heavy metal band Guns & Roses did a song for the movie soundtrack, so that is why Arnie walks down the mall hallway with a shotgun hidden in a long stemmed roses box ( guns and roses). Attack of the Clones: Linda Hamilton has a twin sister used for certain shots, and the Hospital Security Guard with the coffee cup has a twin used for when the T1000 copies him.
Dr. Miles Bennett Dyson, father of the great enemy and at the very beginning of the conflict - long before the first shot was fired - the very first casualty in the name of the human resistance. It's true, fate is a big fan of irony.
I never thought of that, but I also wonder, wouldn't Reese be the first casualty in a way? Yes, he was from the future, but in human history, he'd be the first to die actively fighting a terminator. (Not counting cops or thugs, since they didn't know what they were fighting.)
@@Lannisen If we tried to sort this out, I think we'd both go insane. We're talking about a time paradox here. Things that according to the logic of the human mind should not be possible. But as for Reese, I don't count him because he was already in the resistance and - as he said himself - grew up in the ruins after the war. 😆
You are correct both ways about the "Arnie is good" twist. We were spoiled in 1991, and much of the marketing revolved around Arnie being good/cool/badass. But watching the film, it's pretty clear James Cameron intended audiences to get hit with the twist in the mall scene. It's unfortunate trailer/marketing people don't have to answer to the director's vision.
1. Linda Hamilton must have been working out with Ah-nold to get ripped like that 😍🥰

was injured and they had to stop production for a couple of weeks so he could recover

Another thing: Dyson must have people working with him who assist him with his projects. If he had Bern killed, his assistants could open a back door to his files and restart the whole thing. So Dyson staying alive and destroying the whole thing himself was the right move.
True. Even if he quit and deleted the files, as long as they had the Terminator parts it would still work. All they would need is a couple of MIT grads with crippling student loans that don't ask questions to reboot the project.
Yes it is one of the best sequels and one of the best action movies ever made. Never gets boring to rewatch it.
The one thing I never figured out about T2... In the first one, Dr. Fireman is in the police station talking to Sarah about Kylr, before the "i'll be back" scene. Afterwards, Arnold has crashed through the front desk with his car and shot the living FARK out of the whole station but we don't Ser Silver an agsin... So it looks like he died with all the cops. But in this one he's back calm as ever, with no injuries except "how's the knee?", which probably happened shortly before this movie. So is this guy a clone?
T800 was a totally underappreciated model

Later, near the end of movie, Linda Hamilton shares the screen with her identical twin sister, Leslie (1956-2020 RIP).
2:43 - a small plot hole: doctor told visitors that she stabbed him in the knee with this pen. So how could she show 6 months improvement if this attack was obviously recent?
Knee injuries don't heal and always flare-up in pain. She could have stabbed him at any time and asks about so he'll feel pain.

15:03 I just love the small detail of how battle-hardened Sarah truly is, to immediately hit the floor and get in cover while Miles just looks at SWAT entering the door, even that he was already shot today, still no reflexes, still "home in the lab" (well, later shooting from the hip to the eye is maybe luck or maybe really hard training :) ). Too bad you didn't watch the extended Director's cut, one of my favorite scenes is there (just after Sarah is freed)
ty for this vid. this movie is so awesome in so many levels. 13:10 "how were we supposed to know". yeah.. awesome. this was not director cut..i think..there was scene in on version where T1000 broke, its mimic ability started to mimic randomly to everything it touched, its in the end, like the feet when it mimics Sarah, the feet were like rooted to floor..so thats how John knew that that was not the real Sarah. ty for this vid
Frankly, I'm OK with theatrical release, having John just knowing his mother would not be begging for help or having him risking exposure. That was good enough for me. Also spared us that sugary sweet future of old Sarah.
The next best Terminator sequel (at least the one I have fondest memories of) is the series The Sarah Connor Chronicles
I actually watched that for a while when it was on. Never rewatched it, but I was always a fan of Summer.

Fun fact about the mall scene when John is trying to get away on the dirt bike: Robert Patrick trained for his running scenes incredibly intensely so he could make it look effortless. The problem was he actually overtrained and on the first take when he was supposed to chase the bike he actually caught it and they had to redo the shot.
He also secretly trained himself how to shoot with both hands because he felt a robot would try to use the most efficient method of tracking a target, meaning he wanted the ability to fire a gun from either hand at any time without having to turn around.

Terminator Salvation was good. And Terminator 3, though not a cinematic masterpiece, is a lot better than most people on the Internet say it is.

I've watched plenty of your reactions and remember commenting on only the 1st 'Terminator' view. Loved how you recalled lines from the 1st, added in some 'Die Hard", and speculated on the opposing T2's actions. My 1st time viewing in the theater, I immediately thought that you had to freeze or overheat this liquid metal menace. Good job on your part!
"I want Sarah to survive more than John". That's humorous because John is the one that led the resistance against the machines. If John wasn't important there would have been no need to send a Terminator back to protect him.
Yes, but even knowing that, Sarah is the one acting as if she's expendable and that makes you worry more for her than John, so I agree. I also felt more invested and seeing her survive.

That's why he's trying to get her to call to John -- he's never heard her speak, doesn't have her voice on file and so he can't imitate it. It's only after she says "No" to him that he's able to replicate her for that final fake-out.
Great reaction! Don't know if you had to cut more than usual for copyright or something, but this felt very short. Leaving your audience wanting more is a good thing, but I gotta say I like when your videos are more in the 30-45 minute range.

The whole time travel thing is sort of a cross between what Avenger's End Game had to deal with and The Bootstrap Effect that Doctor Who talked about.
With Avenger's End Game, they were dealing with divergent timelines in which if you change something in the past your present self will still go on, but it will create an alternate universe timeline that branches off from the main universe timeline. Hence why there are Good Terminator movies, and sucky Terminator movies.
The Bootstrap Effect can be described in the simply which came first, the chicken or the egg? If there was no egg, there's no chicken. No chicken, no egg. Unless you sent a chicken back in time to lay the first egg. Thus creating the first chicken. Which is why Skynet was able to come into existence because the first Terminator's parts laid the foundation for Cyberdyne.
The Doctor said a similar but much better explanation. A time traveler is passionate about Ludwig Van Beethoven, so he pops back in time to meet him. Trouble is nobody has ever heard of him. Not even his own family. He literally doesn't exist. So rather than face a world without Beethoven's music, he copies all of his sheet music note for note and gets them published. Thereby becoming Beethoven, spreading his works down through history without a single ripple and inspiring people like himself, the time traveler. So the question is, who wrote Beethoven's Fifth?

One of the best movie sequels! I was 15 when this came out and I watched this every chance I could. It's a shame the trailer ruined the twist that Arnold played a good guy but still the movie blew me away. That first chase scene in the la river basins was so epic! And the building explosion at the end, magnificent. Skynet made a lot in my generation (rightly) terrified of the potential for AI. Enjoyed your reaction :D
In spite of what you may have heard to the contrary, the first TERMINATOR 3 (RISE OF THE MACHINES) is very good too, and a great way to terminate the franchise. They took the original premise, which by that time had developed some serious logic issues (not to mention the fact that Arnold was geting a little old) and they just chose to run with it, having a lot of fun with it in the process. And this was the exact approach to take, in my opinion.
So don't just sluff it off without giving it a chance. You'll get along fine ignoring the later additions to the franchise. There is nothing memorable or iconic about them. But this 1st T-3 is very self aware. And the inside jokes, though sometimes subtle, are hilarious. It is also essential to anyone who wants to pretend to be a student of the franchise. Love it or hate it, it is the logical full circle end of the story and it deserves to be seen.
"We're accountable to that which we know" I love that! Brilliant and a great message that I wish was more common.
For me, there are two things that distinguish action movies of the 70s 80s and 90s. One is the element of "heart", that common and relatable element of humanity that appears and enamors us of the characters or their cause. "Heart" can be found in many ways but in the end, it's that authenticity, that "human" element, verbal or non-verbal, that we immediately latch on to. Today's action movies seem to value "action" over everything and often there is no real "heart" that doesn't feel forced or inauthentic. Star Wars of the 70s and 80s compared to Star Wars of the 2000s is a perfect example of the way that "heart" has mostly become a lost art. It sometimes does show up. The LOTR movies ('01, '02, '03) did have heart but that's 20 years ago now.
Second is the use of "common people" as actors. Aside from Schwarzenegger, the rest of the cast in this movie were fairly "common" looking and people we could relate to visually. They looked like real people in the world we lived in. It seems like in today's action movies, in general, most of the main characters are uncommonly "beautiful" for their roles and thus don't seem "real". They also lack "heart" and appear too cold and one dimensional. When I think of action films back in the day, many of the main action characters might be handsome or attractive but they were rarely flawlessly beautiful (unless that was the hook - like Charlie's Angels) and often they were just plain looking but perfect for the role which allowed to accept them as "real" and authentic.
I may be wrong about all of this and may be the musings of someone from a bygone generation but that's what I see.

As well as Linda Hamilton,the cop getting coffee has a twin too when he turns around and the terminator has taken his form that is his twin brother.
I didn't see this movie until maybe a little later into the '90s, but I loved it immediately. I remember in '91 how absolutely huge it was, though. Edward Furlong did a great job in his first film role, but struggled with substance abuse for years afterwards. Robert Patrick was a perfect T-1000 and went on to star in later episodes of The X-Files. This one stands the test of time.
While the movie keeps it a secret weather Arnold is good or bad, the trailers at the time actually gave it away! The narration literally said he's back at this time he's here to protect!
When you were weighing up whether or not it is right to kill Miles Dyson that was very much the intent. Its an old philosophical dilemma called the trolley problem. There are a bunch of different versions of it and a whole bunch more answers but it boils down to weighing up the value of human life. Its used to gauge a persons moral compass. Its a fascinating subject and can tell you a lot about others and your self.
The trailers totally DID spoil Arnold being the protector.
There are three different cuts to this movie. The theatrical, which you seemed to watch, the special edition which contains more character/world building, and the extended which contains some things the special edition doesn't as well as an alternate ending which more definitively closes the story. Personally, I think the black highway ending fits the movie better in tone, but there are people who prefer the one on the extended cut since most people agree that T3 onward were...not great. My preferred way to watch this is the special edition cut, but the theatrical is also good. Some say that's the best version due to pacing, but I love the SE's added details.
However you slice it, this is one of the best sequels ever made as well as one of the best action movies ever made. I'm with you though, in preferring the first one personally. Sci-fi horror is my jam.
Dark Fate serves as a direct timeline sequel to this film. If you watch it, you will not be disappointed.

Fun fact: Linda Hamilton is actually a twin, so when you see certain shots, like of the 'T-1000' Sarah and then the real Sarah appears behind him with a gun, that's both Linda and her sister Leslie. Same with the cop that the T-1000 turns into, twin actors there as well.

As a sequel to The Terminator, Judgment Day is about the best follow-up one could imagine. It expands the themes and concepts of the first film while managing to stand on its own at the same time. And considering that Cameron is behind both films, his decision to shift from horror to action feels less intrusive than it did in Aliens (which subsequently feels like a rough draft for T2).
But as the second chapter in the larger franchise, it's an impossible hurdle for future sequels to jump. Most of the subsequent films (and even the TV show) are essentially remakes of this one because they can't figure out what else can be done with this premise. The T-1000 is so innovative and versatile that the rest of the series can't successfully conceive of something more threatening to replace it. And no one has been willing to pull an Alien 3 and get back to the small-scare terror of the first film, since T2 was the bigger moneymaker of the two Cameron films.
You might consider watching Salvation simply because it's the only Terminator sequel that cannot be described as "Arnie's Terminator is once again sent back in time, and he is once again fighting alongside the people who will lead the resistance against Skynet." (The best version of this story after T2 is Dark Fate, which also happens to reduce the role of the T-800 CSM 101.) That's not to say that Salvation is a good film, but at least it's something different.
I don't believe I've ever seen a tanker truck advertising on the side in giant letters that it was carrying liquid nitrogen. it reminds me a bit of those '50s movies where you'd see businesses named "Bank" and "Diner" and "Laundry."

I'd suggest you give T3 a try. (Not necessarily for a reaction vid, but maybe for your own interest). It's definitely not a classic in the way that the first two films are, but it's a pretty decent sequel.
Sadly, it's missing Sarah Connor, but it has a solid early performance from Claire Danes, and unlike some of the "reboots," it continues to put new twists on the main themes established in T1 and T2. I think it might have been remembered more fondly, if T2 hadn't already blown the roof off!
Not many movies have the guts to end like that.
You've convinced me to watch T3. I had heard such bad thigs about it and I'm a really big fan of TSCC so I never thought that I could give a different storyline a chance. I love Claire Danes though.
Ironic how you said Sarah wasn't pulling any punches. In actuality, she really didn't pull any punches. Supposedly every instance where she beat the crap out of someone was quite real.

The best of the terminator films!
When I watched this as a kid, I thought John Connor was so cool. 🤣So now we have two sequel routes. The subsequent movies and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronices, which ignores Terminator 3 and follows directly on from Terminator 2. The TV series is really excellent. Unfortunately, it was cancelled after a massive cliffhanger after two seasons, but you can at least have fun speculating about how the hell they got out of it. 😀 I really do need to rewatch it.

My favorite effect wasn't even an effect. The security guard at the hospital who got the shank to the eyeball wasn't doubled by any CGI or other effects, he was played by identical twins. In addition, the younger dream Sarah was played by Linda Hamilton's sister. Old school FTW!
As a twin (granted fraternal so no doble) I really appreciate that fact.

This movie blew everyone away when it came out. 30 years later and the effects are still incredible. The rest of the films from here on out are anywhere from ok to flat out terrible.
The TV series was pretty good, but sadly was cancelled (after two seasons) without much sense of closure.

You just made me wonder for the first time what the T1000 is doing with the material he absorbs. Specifically those bullets - what is he doing with all those minerals? I assume he's somehow breaking down the bullets and not just running around with in increasing weight of these things slogging about in his innards. That could be pretty funny depending on the effect they have. Conversely, perhaps he must eject the extraneous material somehow, and then we have the hilarious image of the T1000 leaving a trail of little mineral pellets after every firefight. Where would the poop appear? Would it just fall out of his heels as he runs? These are the thoughts that are going to keep me up tonight.

I do love this movie but: Sometimes, I just can't shake the thought that this is an action movie remake of T1. Sometimes I feel the same way about Aliens and Alien. Anyway: This is a great movie even so. Unfortunately, I saw this one before T1 so I didn't have the experience of being shocked at Arnold being good in this one. But also unfortunately, neither did most people as this fact was spoiled to death in the promotional material. Also: Early career cameo at 3:18 of Nikki Cox.
I remember the advertising campaign showed an assembly line of terminators which mislead everyone to believe we would be getting an all out machine war.
It’s funny how they mislead people sometimes. Rather intentionally, or because they promoted an early concept or something.

Y'know, Arnie's big breakout role was Conan: The Barbarian, and I still think it's one of his best. The sequel doesn't hold up, but the original really captures Robert E Howard's character well (plus the score is amazing). It's a really good example of the Swords and Sorcery Fantasy genre from before Lord of the Rings -- much grittier, more primitive, life was more of a mystery. It was straight out of an adventure from my RPG days. The remake was nothing by comparison.
It’s not part of the official Terminator canon, but I know how you love classic era sci fi, so I recommend the movie “Colossus: The Forbin Project” from about 1970. It’s a stylish, tense, miminalist techo thriller about an evil computer that gets out of control of its human handlers and in my mind serves as a sort of prequel to Skynet

Definitely better than the first movie!
My memory is that the trailers did NOT give the big twist away so we all (at least the folks who went to see it early) got to experience that shock completely unspoiled. It sucks that, being just part of the culture now, folks know that Arnold's the protector and that [the big shock in Empire Strikes Back] well before they ever see these movies. A big component of the thrill is lost.

Hi, I really enjoy your channel! This is an awesome movie. Although I'm not much for violence, this movie stands above by having deep meanings about the prevention of violence. I think Robert Patrick's character is absolutely brutal. The whole cast is awesome.

I'm told that there is a certain kind of psychiatric worker who does things like that as a test to see if someone is faking or not. A friend of mine used to work as an orderly in a series of psychiatric hospitals, including in California, and he told me that a lick of the face was a "mild test". He spoke of some other orderlies he worked with who had done "cup checks" on supposed coma/fugue patients, male and female, hitting them hard in the crotch with a knee, fist, broom handle or like object to make them react. Some required medical attention after being on the receiving end of a "cup check". The ones who weren't faking required more serious medical attention later when it was discovered during the routine medical exam that they had been seriously injured days before and no one had known anything about it. My friend spoke of a couple of patients who had been so seriously injured that they had to have "certain hanging parts" surgically removed. There were also other fugue checks that he wouldn't talk about, other than to say that they were object related and invasive. He did say that in some places he worked the only difference between the incarcerated psychos and some of the orderlies was who was issued keys by management.

It would seem that the only answer is "Die."
Several scientists who studied such things sent Cameron a letter complementing him on the accuracy of his depiction of the effects of a nuclear strike. He was horrified. He was just trying to make the most nightmarish image he could imagine, and to find out that it was an accurate image was more disturbing to him than when he thought he was just trying to create a nightmare.
Killing Dyson wouldn't stop the project. It'd just change who completed it and when.
The extended edition had some scenes that added some decent things to it, but that were fairly easy cuts.
At one point, John is trying to get the Terminator to act more human. He tries to convince him to smile. The T-101 analyzes and tries to mimic the smile of a young man standing nearby but it just doesn't work. But, as we see starting with the minigun scene in the desert bunker, the Terminator successfully mimics John's smirk, and gives that smirk/smile throughout the rest of the movie. I wish there had been a way to better show that the T-101 was beginning to mimic John's humanity and learning so much from him, but the ending "I know now why you cry" scene made it clear.
Another thing that was cut was that all the repeated damage was beginning to take a toll on the T-1000. In the beginning of the movie he was very human in his mannerisms when interacting with others. As the movie went along, and he took more and more damage, he started to lose more and more of that. After being shattered the T-1000 was having issues keeping form. One of the cut scenes showed that as he walked his feet were taking on the consistency and surface appearance of the metal floor. When he touched a painted handrail at one point, his hand automatically mimicked the black and yellow pattern of the handrail for a moment. And, in the two Sarahs scene at the end, John looked down and saw that the T-1000's feet had the pattern of the catwalk on them, so he knew which was his real mother.
There was a different denouement scene at the end, where grandmother Sarah is watching her adult son and her granddaughter playing on a playground. It wasn't as good as the roadway scene in my opinion, but keeping it would have guaranteed one thing: no more BS Terminator money grabs as it showed that the future had been fixed and Skynet had absolutely never happened.
Also, kudos to the two sets of twins in this film. Dan and Don Stanton who played the security guard and the T-1000 mimicking the security guard, and Linda and Leslie Hamilton who played Sarah Connor in any scene where there were two Sarahs (Sarah's nuclear nightmare and the end scene being the ones from this version).

Personally I much prefer the first, the lack of budget made it a more human film
James Cameron makes great sequels with T2 and Aliens
The director's cut is what I always go for but this really is one of the best sequels ever. This,Aliens and Godfather pt2 rightfully deserve to be known as great sequels. Great reaction again, you don't disappoint
Also, killing Dyson never would have worked because the lab had a ton of equipment.

IF the people who see this comment and plus the reactor want more terminator, then make sure you look at Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles the tv show.. Only 2 seasons but absolutely amazing.. The actress who plays Sarah Connor Lena Heady IMO absolutely nails Sarah Connor.. Damn good 2 seasons of Termintor for fans who want more terminator

I loved what you said about action movies and unrelenting pace. I've become aware of this situation since I've been watching reaction videos. It hurts when reactors say, "Good movie but the pace was a little slow." or "It was slow at a couple of points." At first I thought that my yearning for the 'Golden Age of Hollywood' movies was a generation gap thing. I finally realized that there has been a massive shift in 'pace'. I love action movies but I never include them on my lists of great movies.
If you're interested to watch some great movies with a leisurely pace that no other reactor has touched, check out "Enchanted April", "Indian Summer", "The Natural", "Mister Roberts", or "Secondhand Lions". These aren't 'old' old movies. They are what 'going to the movies' used to be about. We called them 'Feel Good' movies.
Definitely the best of the Franchise.
