My life Changed because of Hillsong..,I was sinking deep in hurt and lost everything in my life and ended up in prison. My first night I turned on the TV and taya Smith was singing shadow step..the part of the song that says"keep your eyes on the unexpectef" hit me and at that moment zi went from skin head to watching hillsong every Friday and Sunday for two and a half years not missing one hillsong worship. I became the yard rep. And the pastor of the church. Everytime I heard shadow step my life would change. I ended up a fire fighter and moved to the fire dept. Got 3 years knocked off and there was God..I was in his shadow and there was the unexpected..I got out 04/06/20 and have given my testimony to many and plan to see hillsong in San Diego in aug..thank you for saving me Taya. And my lord jesus

I went to church with Taya's Mum and Dad, they both shone with the love of Jesus and I remember her Mum singing and worshipping, she was so pretty as well. Wonderful memories and Taya carries a generational blessing and anointing, I was so blessed when her Mum told me that Taya was her grown daughter and how God could use her heart which was so humble.

When I started listening to hillsong, watching Taya move the congregation with that angelic holy spirit filled voice of hers, I couldn't help but go on my knees. And I asked God one thing, 'Dear God, I'm not good enough, not even close, but please use me'. And every time I hear her worship, I say the same prayer. You are a blessing Taya. God is using and will continue to use you. You have saved many, healed many wounded souls and motivated many people like me. God did answer you. Stay blessed.

I love this song I always play it before I sleep. Gone through a difficult situation but I am a witness God is good all the time. Gone through dialysis because I had kidney failure and never stopped praying every time I think of God I pray. After 2 months of dialysis, I had a donor and now got a successful kidney transplant.

I had been agnostic for years. Then 2016 the day i choosed to believe in Jesus, after i get through my huge surgery
A lot of times when I go to my quiet time, I am still upset and stressed about things that happened at work. Often the last thing I feel like doing is worshiping God. So, I go to one of Taya’s videos and soon I am feeling like I need Him more than anything and all my other thoughts pass away and I can focus on Him in worship. Taya definitely has a wonderful gift of imparting her worshipful praise of God to others. She says “Who am I to lead these people in worship”? I say, you are the one gifted by God to lead many in worship, not just at your Church, but around the world.
When they all sang together with no instrumental at the end i got the chills😂

I used to be a huge fan of Hillsong back in the days of Darlene 10 to 15 years back.
I recently started listening to Hillsong again! Wow Taya!
The anointing in this place is Great! Has always been.
Hillsong is a Blessed ministry!

I battled religion most of my life. Now at 31 the pressures of life, perhaps that of which I've put on myself, have really caught up with me and my mental health took a turn down a dark road. And like most men I suffered in silence. In that pain I almost instinctually went to prayer. I think prayer helped me let go of my ego in telling myself I would do it all alone. I pray every night now. I don't pray in Jesus name only because ive spend my thinking years picking apart the lore and hypocrisy of most religions, but I pray to what is good in the sense of goof vs evil. With that said I stumbled across hillsong united and the medium of music has opened my heart to Christianity in a sense. And through this lense I can see the tremendous beauty of it. And im done picking up art religions for their flaws. There's a greater purpose for all.

God uses the most unexpecingtly people to do his work. He took a poor shepherd boy and made him King. He took a humble beautiful woman and blessed her with being the mother of the Messiah. :) God takes the most "unworthy" by societal standards and crowns them with his love protection and hope. :)

It’s amazing to be used by God. Because the reality is, He doesn’t need us, but He uses us anyway! Let’s not be limited to thinking worship is singing, and lifting hands, and being in a room singing a cool song. Worship is your life, how you treat your neighbor, your spouse, your family! It’s dying to yourself DAILY and allowing Christ to live within and through you. Let’s not seek and desire to stand on platforms because God doesn’t look at the outward appearance of man, but He looks at the heart. So, let us LIVE outwardly in surrender to His will for us...WHATEVER that looks like ♥️

That passion is there for God to use you. I have the same doubt a year ago, I love to dance and sing but I never knew how until one day I discovered that I can, I only can through the power of the Holy Spirit but when I dont sing for the Lord, Id rather not sing. Because I can see the difference of how good you sing when you sing for the Lord than for the world. Know who gave you that passion and It will come out instantly.
This has really touch me,I didnt grow up in a christain home but I always was in church,people said things against me and i had allowed it to get to me i had stop lead worship i quit the keyboard/piano,I quit dancing for the lord,but listening to this really has drawn my attention,your testimony is great Taya....I will used this as a motivation to go forward
