My weather app is saying rain for Cookeville TN but on your radar it says snow. I need to get to the pharmacy Friday so I am hoping it doesnt snow again :(
Just watched our buddy that just does weather, and I think things have changed. Your forecast is what I was anticipating. Now they are calling for an ice storm for Nashville, not so much snow. I was expecting sleet/snow...not prepared to hear about a freezing rain event. I'm terrified of ice storms after that traumatic one we had in Nashville back around 1995'ish. That was scarier and more disastrous than any tornado I'd been through personally. Was so hoping you had put out a report later Wed. evening. Will look in the morning to see if you come let us know what to actually expect. 0.10" of ice can shut us down, esp for those of us with only electricity and no alternative heat source. We aren't rich and don't have any of those power banks to run even one room with our oil heater. So...if we lose electricity that will put us in the car. At least we have that to turn to. We don't have any family or close friends to get help from. Did you get the ice, sleet, and snow??? I watched my farm buddy at Cogg Hill Farms with it all over in the Selma area below Birmingham. I couldn't remember what town you lived in, but I hope you got to see a little of that winter precipitation. You look cold. lol Take care my tall friend. Blessings to all~

It is very very cold right now in central Louisiana. The official temperature is 12 degrees but it`s typically colder in my rural location in a bottom than NOAA says. Not sure why or where they get their measurements. My thermometers are accurate. I`m not putting them outside this morning though because I don`t want to damage the electronics or batteries. NOAA said it was 35 once and my outdoor faucet was frozen and once when they said it was 73 it was actually 67.
