I am am absolute newbie to watercolor painting so I rely very much on recommendations and I spontaneously purchased this set of watercolors without knowing anything about them so I am thrilled that my favorite watercolor artist is using them!! Now I can truly follow along 😅

I enjoyed the video but got excited to see the hand made sketch book. I have at least two of them that are full of expensive water colour paper. I made them years ago but so far I've not used any of them for rear of making a mess. Seeing you using one makes me hope i might just risk making a mess sooner rather than later. Thanks for the inspiration.

Lindsey, how long is the card making class. I am thinking of doing it, but am a true true beginner with no natural ability. Do you truly think I will get something out of it, that I would give. Ooops, didn't scroll far enough I saw the curriculum so I figured out the length. But what about how successful I might be? Also what do you think about me taking the essentials course. Can it really help someone who is really quite untalented? We had the first flurries of the season today. So I put on some Christmas music. Why fight it, in Minnesota you need to embrace it. In the cardmaking class I give you patterns for the cards so you dont have to draw those. It is beginner friendly. We do draw the tags but those are pretty easy and small so good practise. If you are an absolute beginner the essential course will get you started on the right foot.

So interesting, we wrote our dates as 18-10-2020 🤔 with the month being the one in the middle. so when I first saw your date I was like uuuh there are 18 months on the year 🙈🤷🏻♀️ 😆 and the Dutch have a different way of saying the time too. Eg. Half 5 is a half an hour before 5 so technically 4:30 🕟

I only found them chalky when you mix in white which is to be expected. They have cheap watercolor smell at first but it does go away.
Love the flower!! How would you mix that mauve color? With a smaller palette that is. And did you like this set?
I'd do a cool red like magenta or rose plus pthalo blue. I was actually very impressed for the price!
