HI Bro, You have a lovely bike, lucky me in my country (Morocco), we have the same bike but with the 155cc engine, and I'm super excited to get one Inchaalah, I have a question for you please : When you are riding in city and especially during rush time and busy traffic, do you face any heating issues with the engine ?? or the radiator is doing his job perfectly and the bike can keep idling for ever in a traffic jam ??
Hey mate! Not at all, the radiator works really well (at least, so far) :) sometimes i see the temp on the lcd reaching 90ºc but never gets past that, and as soon as you start moving again it gets to 80/85, but you won’t feel it at all. ;)
Stock exhaust or aftermarket? Sounds really good, I'm hoping this bike reach our market, I saw the 155cc version in MX, COL and PER, would love to have this in 250 o 300cc Btw I saw you using the turn signals to switch lane, thats good riding, stay safe. Best wishes from Arg.
Hey there. It’s stock :) it has a really cool sound for a 125cc, it has the same kind of exhaust as the cb125r. This bike would be great in 300 form eheh, the chassis have great proportions and rigidity for that, but since it has having a huge success in sales Zontes would be dumb to not make a version with their 310 engine! Thanks again mate, cheers ;)
Worth 100% as long as you dont expect to drive faster then 95-100km/h. It can do it but not over extended periods. Feels quite a big bike for what it is thanks to that huge tank. Im in break in period so I am treating it gently, but cant wait to cross the 500km on the odometer.
Basically is what s0k4lsk1 said, the only downside on the G1 compared to other 125’s is that it is a bit heavier than most and also taller, with 830mm of seat height, might not make you feel so comfortable if you’re on the shorter side, but might as well be a good training if you wish to step up on higher cc trail/touring bikes. But anyway, Zontes also has 3 other models based on this one, the U which is a streetfighter style bike, the U1 a trail version of the U, and the Z2 which is a standard naked style, they’re basically equal on specs only changin seat heights and design.
@@DaveButtonz are you sure about the seat height? On the Polish website and in the manual Zontes claims that the G1 seat height is 795mm, and I must admit that it feels considerably lower the some of the adv bikes that I have tried that were 830mm or higher. Funny thing is that in manual they say that vmax is 99km/h and fuel consumptions sits at 1.8l/100 km - both info totally not true :)
@@s0k4lsk1 the tests are made on a dyno and with the best conditions, not on the streets up and downshifting and with traffic lights, if we just "ride" for the fuel economy, what's the fun on the ride? 😹
Can i put a bigger tire And if the answer yes Can u tell me the number of the bigger tire please And one more question is that bike good for travelling
Honestly I don’t know, but even if it’s possible, you won’t need to.. the size of this tires are excellent for what it is, and you can lean at will like this that you won’t lose grip. Also, bigger tire = bigger drag (it’ll make you slower) and will raise the consumption. As for traveling, I didn’t do it yet, it’s good for short distances and if the road is plain and straight mostly, but it might be a bit tiring to ride after 1h or so.
Eh pa... Tens de publicar mais vezes. Ando à espera que a minha chegue há mais de 1 mês por causa da incidente do canal do Suez e ando a tentar manter-me lúcido à custa dos teus videos! Grande abraço
The mirrors are the same that comes already in the G1 but I’ve switched sides and turned em down. The covers just asked my shop to buy the covers from the Zontes U1 and it’s just bolt-on to the hand protectors :)
Did you have to put the mirrors the opposite way round to have them underneath? And is it easy to see having them that way ?? I’ve just purchased the g1 and hopefully the top speed will be better than my Suzuki 125cc
Its up to you, i decided to switch sides just for the to be aesthetically better, but if you keep em turning outside, they may hit your knees if you fully turn your handlebar, but its a matter of test a bit. As for the view, you can definitely see more, because you wont have the arms in the way, but instead is a bit dumb to look at them as you have to lean your head down a bit and move your arm out of the way, so… it’s worse in practicality and just better aesthetically lol. I don’t know the top speed of tour suzuki but this one can reach 131kph (downhill), on flat.. around 120ish
@@DaveButtonz most reviewers struggled to get over 112 km/h on flat ground. Can you share your weight and height with us? For these little bikes it makes a difference how big the rider is.
@@s0k4lsk1 yeah, it’s not easy to get above that due, but even if you could it’s not recommended on a 125 because you’re in such high revs that you might break it. Anyway, im 1,72m (5ft8”) with 95kg (209lbs), a medium but overweight dude i know lol but it sure moves well anyway, specially after the first 1000km service.
@@DaveButtonz thx for quick reply :) I am 6'0" (183cm), 82 kg (180lbs) and before first 500km on the odometer, and i find that the biggest struggle is the uphill climbing where I have to go down even to 4th gear. Besides that I am quite happy with the bike performance. Cant wait to get over 1k to be able to abuse the throttle a little bit :) Great videos man, we are waiting for more :) especially accessory-wise related :)
Hey there. Fear not, this is a chinese brand built by a company thats has been making bikes for around 20+ years, and so far, it has been better everyday :) i have it since the end of last November, and has almost 3000kms on the clock and it feels stronger than before and it’s really well built, no loose screws nor rust anywhere. It’s a good bet if you want a great bike and don’t want to trade a kidney for it lol

What's the top speed, and is acceleration good?
Wana no this myself befor i buy one.

i'll try to put foam on my gopro for my next ride :)
Benelli leoncino 250 or zontes g1 ? Who wins?
I don’t know the Benelli, but just for being a 250 it would certainly be “better” to cruise with.
Trocas-te os espelhos de lado ou só baixas-te?
Apenas os virei, mantendo-os do mesmo lado para ficarem a curvar para dentro.
