Annika, Nelly, and Caitlin- 3 women- 1 who has already done incredible things for women's sports, and carried herself with grace and dignity, and 2 who are now shaping the future. When it comes to these three, women's sports are in good hands. Let's help them keep it that way, by allowing women to compete with women. If others wish to play sports as well? Create your own leagues, and be pioneers, NOT force your unfair influence upon those who are not on your biological-level, of a playing field. It diminishes both women, and yourselves, in so doing.
Will have to watch more LPGA and Nelly for sure. Lost touch for some years due to other family obligations. But having been caught up in the Caitlin Clark effect, I am very willing to follow individuals in other sports when players treat Caitlin with respect and understand what a phenom she is.
I hope many CC fans will continue to support the remainder of the ANNIKA tournament as well as other LPGA events, especially given how the LPGA players appreciate CC.
Nelly is a great player. Glad Caitlin got to play with Nelly. Nelly neck injury is a tough comeback I hope she is careful. Nelly even said pushing the rehab. Praying for a win for her. I remember when I first started to regularly tune in to the LPGA and a young, teenage Nelly would get some invites to events and play with her big sister, Jessica, who was at the time enjoying her peak performance on the tour. Nelly is still rail thin now but back then she’d disappear if she turned sideways. 😉🤣
