This mod is absolutely awesome, tons of possibilities here. Problem I have here, is that when I tried it on my game, and this mod has a very low framerate of like only 8 or 9. However, I'm still not gettin' rid of it though, this is the best mod idea ever.
You could try lowering some of the graphics settings in game to hopefully help out with this mod. I have heard some people suggest turning off structure shadows.
NASCAR 2003 was the best NASCAR game they ever made hands down and they never been able to match it

If you put that folder with the names that come above the drivers in a different mod, will the game crash? Also I was able to get the ICR mod to work with 60-70 FPS running.

I downloaded & installed. Unfortunately I'm only getting 10-12 FPS. Even with all tweaks.

I downloaded this but my game crashes as soon as I do anything within the mod, it only happens with this mod, is this problem just for me? Because it is a great mod but I cannot use it with the constant crashes.
If you are having crashes while in races you may need to lower some graphics settings. Also, you can look into the 4GB patch if you have not already: www.reddit.com/r/Nr2003/comments/bc42tj/4gb_patch/

Hey man, I enjoy your videos. Will NR2003 with updated graphics play well on my HP Pavilion 690? Ryzen 5 2400G & radeon rx580. I’m new to PC and want to try this before iRacing
I think it should run it just fine with those specs, I am not an expert though. However, NR2003 is free to play now legally so there is no risk involved. Here is a good install guide if you want to try it out ua-cam.com/video/4qxkIfpS83U/v-deo.html
Iracing might be tough. If you don't have a really good pc iracing can be tough. I have a low end gaming pc that can run this mod over 100fps, but then can only run iracing on low graphics
123456789colton thanks. I’ve been on iRacing for a couple of months with my above specs, but recently started having trouble. I just bought more RAM and an SSD to see if it helps. If it doesn’t, I’ll upgrade the CPU. I’ve mostly been playing ACC on PS4 in the meantime, other than just practice laps on iRacing.

The only problem I have with this is the manufacturers that don't belong in NASCAR. I'm okay if they put in Pontiac or Dodge because they used to be in NASCAR but all the ones that have never been leave them out.
Yeah they really went all-out with the fantasy side of it. But I think the idea was to have the options available for those who would want it.

The creators of ICR have a tutorial for how to use all of the features. ua-cam.com/video/oDlPShXGuN0/v-deo.html
All you need to do to get started with a mod is download it, extract the folder with 7zip, and place the folder in the "Series" folder wherever you installed NR2003.

Can I keep some of the cars from the OG files and run them in the ICR MOD with the new ones?
You only need the physics type you want to use. .CUP is like cup cars, that's the one I use in this video.
So all you need to do is download ICR 1.1 Cup Physics adracingdesigns.com/downloads-mods-icr/
Then you just go to the downloaded file, unzip and copy the entire ICR folder into your "series" folder in NR2003.
And then in the video he shows how it works for changing some options, you basically just copy the options back into the main ICR folder.
Does this have full grid(ai racers) with lan multiplayer?
I believe you can use a full ai grid online. I have never used lan with this game so I am unsure about how that works these days. If you want to ask around there are a lot of helpful people on the subreddit, r/nr2003
