- The rape trial of Rivers of Living Waters Church leader Bishop Stephen Bafana Zondo is far from over. The trial will resume later this month. It was delayed due to translation problems. Zondo is facing 10 charges, eight of which are rape charges. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
His defence's line of questioning suggested that the charges were trumped-up to extort money from the wealthy preacher.

The Church needs to put up better policies and regulations not to allow people like this into the body. As a leader you need to protect and serve your community, and not violate them. He is a disgrace to Christians and shows no resemblance to the teachings of Christ!
