  • Short notice: Unfortunately I do not take requests on this channel, mainly due to them being time consuming and sadly having a rather busy schedule. However, please enjoy the content I post and thank you for watching!
    ---------------------------------------------
    Something different for a change and something I have not featured on this channel in ages! Recently found a childhood toy washing machine on eBay! A 1980s model by "Nikko America Inc.", it features a mechanical ticking timer, 2 speed settings and rather realistic motor sounds. Included in the box are 2 replica Laundry detergent and Fabric Conditioner cartridges. I am amazed at how fast this spins for a toy! Got a vlog coming after the next video of a day at in Newbury at a car show, airshow and a small funfair with the family so, stay tuned and enjoy! :).

    This brings back fantastic memories. I had one of these toy washers when I was a child. I had about 3 of them. The first one was a red & white one. I first spotted them in Toys R Us. I kept mythering my mum the minute I spotted them on the shelf to buy me one. She kept saying no I can't afford it. But she let me have one in the end. I got it out the box in the car tested it. It kept stopping every few seconds. So my Mum went back inside and got me another one. And that one was forever breaking down as well. My mum's old boyfriend had to keep soldering the wires back up with a soldering iron. The third one I had was a blue one and that lasted me a long time. Where did you get this old toy washer? I have a big collection of old toy washing machines. But ones that use water.

    Omg!! I had one of these as a kid. We bought from a second hand store near Morrison’s where we used to live!
    It was broken though and I never got to see it turn. So glad I’ve finally got to see one working in real life

    When I was little I remember poking things in the door switch of other toy washers to get the drum to spin with the door open.

      I used to do that too and even more so, I'd put wet dolls clothes in the machines that weren't made to handle water, just to spin dry them

      @WasherFan75 5 років тому +1

      @@HooverA3060 I did that too with my toy washer. I would get the old towels and cut them into small squares and wet them. The machine was also not meant for water but handled it fine. I also remember connecting the motor to a small charger causing it to spin much faster and putting things in to make it unbalanced.
