The problem with many casinos is that they are run by middle aged men who do not understand social media. This is actually to the casinos benefit to get more content out there to get more people gambling.

I record on my channel too. however, I don't use a tripod. MGM never bother me. Probably because I lose so much money there. LOL
Even 20 years ago when I use to be a dealer, there were no recording devices allowed on the casino floor. Just to let you know Dan.
NYNY is notorious for that and stricter than other MGM properties it appears. As someone else said. Gamble Smart did a couple of videos on it. They even had the letter giving them permission but didnt have it readily available. Just a few hoops to jump through to get the email for permission to film. Must not care as much about filming at the food locations as they do on the casino floor.

Considering you were putting money in their awful payable machine, they should have been grateful you were playing. BTW, I like your playing style. It is similar to mine. I am happy with small wins. I play video poker for hours and never go home broke.
I guessed (when I saw the thumbnail) that Security was going to tell you to stop filming. Saw the channel, Gamble Smart, the other day, and the same thing happened to them. I thought I heard that you had to first ask permission to film? Dang DtM, what kind of cliffhanger did you just give us?!? Lol. Can't wait to see the next vlog.
Yeah, they stopped us even though we had prior approval. At all other MGM properties, they were able to look us up using our player's card to see we were on the list. However, NYNY requires you to have the actual email handy to show security. We know now for the future to have it ready!

You should have shown him all of your videos. "See, I always record here". If that didn't work pull out your press pass or offer him the can of VIP Diet Pepsi. I think what he meant was don't record here, because the machine was sooo cold.

Yes, you can get a permit...all the other video channel slots have them and they are never bothered...

Last year when I was at NYNY some lady sat at one for the big slot machines with the larger benches and let her toddlers pull the handle and hit the spin button. for over 15 mins. Nobody stopped it. 🤷♂️

Mgm properties are the worst. I use to only stay at their resorts and now I rarely even gamble at them. Their new point system is horrible. I thought they started allowing filming again?

I read that on any MGM property you are allowed to take selfies or short video clips of yourself playing but for content creators you need a prior approval, I suppose you had a permit.

MGM slots are soooooo tight, that's why they don't allow filming. Stay away from their properties.
they do allow filming with permission many vloggers never request permission
@@robertwestlasvegas I don't buy that. My ex used to work for MGM, and they are the most shady company in Las Vegas.

Why would you play such an awful paytable? There is no video poker paytable licensed in the State of Nevada that is worse than the one you chose.
certain casino aint got better paytables, and I was there for other reasons and etc... like, I would never pay high limit at such awful, but low little bit, i feel it is okay enough
