I'm so tired of all the singing in rap. Where are the damn bars? I mean you'll always have your old stalwarts like Black Thought, EARL, Kendrick, Chester Watson, Billy Woods, Ka, Andre, Joey badass, pusha T, JID, IDK, mac Miller, ameer van, Royce, MFDOOM, etc etc, but bars just don't seem to be the focus in rap right now, especially in the mainstream. And what's ironic is I don't even need bars to enjoy hip hop. Im not one of those dudes who think Eminem the GOAT, and everything has to contain a thousand syllables and be spit at the speed of sound. In fact I actually despise Eminem and his delusional fans but for whatever reason I've never been able to warm up to this R&B style of rap but apparently a lot of people enjoy it so more power to them I'm just not a fan. Honestly I wish I were cuz I always open to discovering new music but I haven't found anything yet that that's made me interested in the subgenre
