I am glad I am not the only one who feels the tenderfoot AC is weak. While the parts themselves are great in combination with something else, the package deal feels like I am trading a towel (loader 4) for wet paper to protect myself from projectiles.
Yes! It's actually a massive shock that two ACs with the same weapons and inner parts can feel so vastly different in terms of quality: when both the TENDERFOOT and LOADER 4 are underequipped, the more manoeuvrable one wins out, which is the LOADER 4 every time.
@@nizalmuhammad9689 It's difficult to explain without having played it for yourself, and the stats don't seem to suggest much of a difference either, but the LOADER 4 and TENDERFOOT feel completely different to play (at least in their stock versions). The TENDERFOOT just feels so much more lethargic in its movement, which leaves it much more vulnerable. It was definitely intended to have its arsenal switched around at the player's pleasure, to make better use of the higher load limit of the Melander C3 frame. But in its stock variation, the TENDERFOOT is one of the worst presets in the game for my money.
Gotta admit, he's cool-looking with a nice name and paintjob. Sure, it's a light gunner-type mecha (and pre-order bonus. Bummer...), but like in many games, with the right weapons and gear, he can become stronger, not to mention that the "expansions" upgrades can render him tankier and deadly at the same time.
To be fair, Tenderfoot is just the Redgun's take on the Loader 4 build. That one screams 'beginner AC' too. However, with a change in loadout, it could be a fairly decent kiter.
If 621 joined the redguns full-time, this could be his/her canon build, but alas...

The default Tenderfoot is trash but you got to admit that paint job is clean.
