when the news broke out that he is dating and is gonna have a child...( he posted a hand written letter expressing everything he wanted to say but some anti fans think that he betrayed exo and fans because of this(dating) and having a blessing (child) )
a lot of anti fans went against him bashing him with their harsh comments..
even telling him to leave EXO
so i think that's why he dropped this song expressing his loss of words at that time...which he thinks he should have told his fans and members but because he doesn't now how to say it though..it keeps getting pile up in his head..it suddenly broke out..

I would call this more of a song for where he wants to tell his fans (a message) for all the stuff that he couldn’t put together but wants to say and express regarding what has been happening recently and also a farewell song has he is going to the military
But in a shorter form of explanation... Back some months ago he announced that he was dating and had a child on a way, which than led to his announcement that he was going to get married and from there many fans started to go against him and wanted him out of EXO (the group he’s in) and when that happened he went on a long hiatus until he released this 🥺
I cry everytime i listen to this song because he didn’t deserve any of the hates he’s been receiving and I know how much he’s been struggling because of what happened but he’s currently in the military right now (enlisted Oct 26) and I can’t wait till he comes back.

My angel. Hes gone through alot this year. He was bashed by many for marrying his pregnant girlfriend. A small group even protested outside his company asking for him to be kicked out of his group. The fact that he became a father started being used as a hateful joke against him and the group he is in (EXO). After all this he was mostly silent making only small appearances here and there...after releasing this single he announced he will be enlisting soon and I just wish we..his fans could have protected him better so he wouldnt be afraid.
It is a song for his fans n to those who hv left him (delulus) after his announcement (he wrote a letter (2 actually) to fans) of getting married back in January.
As a soloist he have 2 mini album so far, April and a Flower (title track Beautiful Goodbye) n Dear My Dear (title track Shall We?). React to both mv (the videos thumbnail u seen at the end of the video/song) if u want.
