i thought my machine just didn't do faux fur. its been a year and I've finally been smart enough to look up if something is wrong and figured out the tension was on 3 and its supposed to be on around 7 o-o" . thanks so much.
Thank you so much! You just saved my life with this video 😂 before, my thread kept on getting loose and weird while I was sewing handpaws for the first time, and now I know what I was doing wrong! Thank you so so so much!
Sorry for this beginner question but how do you determine if the tension is too tight or too loose? I was expecting the stiches to sit deeper when too tight but I barely saw the difference bettween too tight and too loose here. Thank you for your attention. I'm just trying to figure out.
This is so useful! I plan to start sewing my own plushies soon and was a bit worried fur would be too hard to machine sew, But your tutorial put me at ease and made me more confident in this method!
A good beginning tutorial! I've been wondering what "overlocking" was called, though I've seen it done before. Now I know I don't need anything special. Thank you for making this!
I just found your YT channel through your twitter account, and I'm so glad I did! This video was incredibly helpful and you did a great job explaining things simply. I've had such a hard time getting my machine to cooperate with faux fur, but this video has inspired me to keep trying!
I just started sewing with a machine, this tutorial helped so much! I am having trouble though, my machine keeps getting jammed.. My threads get messed up and my machine stops sewing, not sure what is causing it.. some help would be amazing!
hey we have the same machine and my upholstery thread keeps getting stuck in that area #3 (when threading the top needle of the machine) i took off the piece of my machine to see and it looks like it's getting gripped by a sort of tight area, do you have any idea how to fix that?
Hello! I love your video, it helped me a lot as I had no idea about sewing machines or sewing in general :p I'm planning to get a Singer M1000 but the thing is it's not cataloged as heavy duty, do you think it could sew and get to the fur easily or do I need to get a more powerful one?
i was trying to wind the bobbin or whatever but the thread had other plans and kept winding up on the stick u put the bobbin on....... who knows how to fix this ⁉
Just seen the intro I know ima like this vid Update: I just finished the video and it’s one of the most helpful explanation video I’ve seen in a bit thank you for this 🩵

So you don’t need to do a knot after the fur has been sewn like you would do when you hand sew?
