I work better with dimensions as well. For me the front of the building was 17 squares and the sides were 10 altogether. I kind of went off script a little. But everything was able to fit perfectly. The front of the police van is 4 squares and the side is 10 long. I hope that helps a little.

The front of the building is 17 squares and the side was 10 for me (others said they got 12 for the side). Hope that helps a little
