I was on a jeep (a public transpo in Philippines) when I first heard this song. I was on my way to work and I just felt so tired, unappreciated and hopeless. And while listening, I can't help but cry as I was reminded of Christ's love and sacrifice for me. I was reminded that He is still with me and He will be with me no matter what happens. His blood truly has the power to cleanse my sins and make me whole. And it gives me hope that one day I shall see Him face to face.

We all have our moments of self pity. I know I have caught myself having pity parties. But I remind myself that nothing I have ever been through, nothing I have ever done for someone that went unappreciated, no persecution I have ever experienced comes close to what Jesus went through, so undeservedly, for all of mankind. That humbles me

Very refreshing to see they took the time to learn 3 and 4-part harmony and dynamics (mp to ff). Most new music in this genre today is unison and requires minimum effort to make presentable. Very, very nice!!!

I actually love how they changed the one part of the lyrics from 'liquid glory' to 'crimson glory'! A few years ago, I was almost going to sing this song for a choir special before it was changed to a different song..And when I was going to sing the solo, I was going to ask our choir director if i could change those exact lyrics just like they ended up doing in this video! I came to that conclusion on my own without hearing anyone else sing it like this.
Seems so much more meaningful and clarifies our dear Savior's sacrifice so eloquently.🙌💕

'Serious disease' would have fitted better, referring to the pandemic.
But I didn't try to find out when the recording was done. So I simply took the aspect in question out.

When I first heard this song sung by the vacoas choir in Mauritius, I saw someone in the choir who resembled a friend and I couldn’t help but cry at the thought of all my friends that do not know Jesus and thinking I haven’t even tried yet to tell them about Jesus. Very powerful song.
