It was something to do with thinking of the curtains of the Tabernacle as blank pages, so that the first letter would be a vav (which can mean 'and') at the top, like a fastening of the curtain, since vav can also mean a 'nail'. It’s truly unbelievable that most Muslims will act just like this, claim that the Bible is corrupted but yet we have manuscripts that predate Muhammad and we have the Dead Sea scrolls which some predate even Jesus and some just a little less then I believe 100 yrs after his crufixion and we’ve translated it to what we have today and it says almost the same thing, it’s just textual variants but the context and the message is perfectly intact

It was only much later some of his followers then started writing various stories describing the life of this Jewish preacher in order to provide some supporting foundational background for Paul’s new movement. These stories were, as stated earlier, written by anonymous authors and contained as many descriptions of fulfilled prophecies and miracles as they could reasonably fit in, combined with.. perhaps with some actual sayings of that Jewish preacher..

And no Paul’s disciples didn’t write stories to try to support what Paul was trying to push to the masses because we know historically that the books that make up the New Testament were around when Paul was alive and some of the disciples of Jesus Christ who Paul did meet such as Simeon Peter and James.The authors of the 4 gospels aren’t anonymous ether because at that time Jewish culture would rely on oral tradition and teachings and memorization to persevere the history and teachings of Jewish scriptures such as the Torah,old testament and what we know now as the new testament and there was far to many eyewitnesses to discredit what happened and how it happened and who it happened to.

At one point one of his followers, Demetrios, doubts that it is really Apollonius back from the dead speaking to them so the teacher encourages him to put out his hand and touch him to prove he is not a phantom. Apollonius later ascends into heaven, though he does later appear again in a dream vision to convince a doubter. The parallels between these stories and those of Jesus are obvious.. what is clear is the idea of a great man being taken up into heaven and appearing after his death was commonplace in the ancient pagans world.
