Fayha National Choir moves audience with Marcel Khalife’s Oudi ya Suleima - Giving Voice to Music

An original song for the Fayha National Choir from their album "Sawt," this live recording includes a soul-stirring performance by the incredibly gifted soloist Roula Abou Baker. With her powerful vocal range and remarkable control over the quarter notes, she masters the piece with technical precision.

True to his style, Marcel blends oriental scales with quarter tones with great finesse, in order to produce a distinctive and emotive sound that is uniquely his own.
