Virtua cop without light guns is so sad... This game was one of the best in the arcades. Surrounding it were the greats... Street Fighter, Tekken, Killer Instinct
I remember a really cool light gun arcade game called "Police 911". What was cool about it was it had a camera rig that tracked the movement of the player and you actually had to move your body and crouch down n shit to get behind cover. I only ever played it once, but it was an awesome experience...
That one was called "Mocap Boxing". I remember playing that one too, it was quite fun as well...

Never. Light guns for HDTV require a different input method such as an IR bar on Wii or a Camera like PS Move.

CRT TVs are superior for gaming. Less display lag thus you get less input delay from pressing button to shit actually happening on screen. CRTs also compatible with lightguns. They were made for them specifically but today we're not getting any at all, so CRTs all the way. Kinda pissed my parents threw out my CRT while I was in the army without asking me whatsoever. I had the same HD LCD TV I have now back then on top of this CRT but that's no reason to just throw it in the garbage.
