This experience has been lonely, traumatic, exhilarating, scary, confusing, and wonderful all at the same time. Watching this video and reading the comments makes me realize that I’m not alone. You need to start praying yourself, for yourself to get a relationship with God yourself. Don't expect and rely on people on the outside. Don't beg others to do for you, what you can and must do for yourself. You are not a victim, but a child of God. Who can pray for yourself.
Start seeing yourself as victorious, instead of a victim. Start listening to and reading his words, start listening to magic psalms. Learning about Gods word and truths. That's the only thing that you need and will help you. Take accountability for yourself, God is you Lord and savior. God made you so you are wonderful and a miracle. Don't be arrogant to tell God that you don't agree with him. Trust God. Not other people. Trust, have faith and start talking uplifting and truthful words to yourself, you are love, peace, joy, perfect self expression, health, wealth . These feelings and truths about yourself, have to be found inside yourself first, before you can see it outside of you. And God is the way to find this in yourself.... Blessed be. ❤

You are focusing on the wrong things. Change comes when you accept that you cannot force change. Its finds you after you let go of your desire. Praying is part of the limited view that the Universe is a God. It is not. It is something we are all a part of. it will flow through you once you let go of your desires. I am a recovering addict from many trauma. I recently came across a free template on how to talk to God.
I said to myself this is the usual bullshit, I am used to hearing from Christians.
I however gave it a try since it was free so I won't incur anything after all.
The amount of value I got from this template was beyond my imagination.
This is a real guide that I have been struggling for years to understand how to relay my wants to God.

I have used the suggested way to talk to God and now it's amazing that I can see changes in my recovery journey from alcohol and substance abuse.

I just got my dream job, dream schedule, dream apartment. I tried getting this job and was turned down 6 months ago. I’ve been itching to move out from my parents. I lost my job and relationship within a short period of time though I was the cause of all problems. but all this has come with a lesson because it has helped me break free from some behaviours that if I still had those opportunities maybe I wouldn't know how to draw close to God.
