I imagine the original intent of this damaged version of the mask was having it break after the first phase. Showing the damage Ori is doing to Shriek.
I think the final look ingame makes more sense, considering how seir basically made an opening for her to be damaged. Just a crack like that is prob too little of an impact. I've actually looked at the model for shriek and saw that mesh before and wondered what it was gonna be for.
0:57 sorry but this frame feels not right. Shriek is very far here and less than second later she is right in front of the screen breaking the floor. The animatora kind of shorten like 2 or 3 second of animation instead of giving Shriek the time to properly turn and then appear to getclose to the front.
