- Hello everyone today, I would like to show a restoration Mazda RX 7 1/24 Diecast This car was featured in the movie Fast and the Furious 2002
Perhaps the most famous Japanese coupe over the past two decades has remained the rear-wheel drive Mazda RX-7. Its main feature, attracting the attention of connoisseurs and technology lovers, remains the Wankel rotary piston engine. The interior with a capacity of 2 + 2 is decorated no less stylishly, but the rear seats are present here purely nominally. Very “sharp” steering and a “stiff” suspension help to achieve maximum confluence in a bunch - car - road.

Thats the point of the video. He didnt bring that car from the dumpster. This is supposed to be a simulation of what a real restoration looks like on a diecast car.

The body is made of zamak and the plastic remains. The plastic and the zamak do not rust.
Sorry, but I'm not a pigeon that you can eat everything at. In addition I am a model maker with a high level and I know what I am talking about. I can recognize real rust and I can also recognize a model that has been skated to make it look like it is rusty. i always thought that was the point, ive bought one of these online where the original owner made it look wheathered and i just try to make it look new and its fun but i thought that was very obvius to people lol i still like the videos but like i said i thought people understood they were made to look rusty intentionally

It's really annoying that the clickbait "fast and furious" title actually works. It's not an actual Fast and Furious model at all. It's just an RX7 with an RE Amemiya bodykit. Not only that but if you're going to claim it's a Fast and Furious car, at least paint it with the same livery.

It’s not a fast and furious car
One heavy coat of clear is not the way. Orange peeled like crazy.
You have to do light coats and let them dry completely every time. Turn the air pressure up or thin the clear and apply multiple coats.
No hate just advice I think would improve the end product more.

I would have done the seat belts in black or green for contrast. Need more soot on the rear bumper; these cars run rich. Did anything glue together or was it just press fit and screws?
