It takes years to build a lot of these ships
That doesn't even touch on the fact that ship yards that most of Russia's ships are built in are in Crimea

The Ukrainian offensive didn't achieve anything you say,.........hmmmm! 🤔 Let's examine that statement shall we.
How many of Russia's mighty black sea fleet are still floating? Why has the Black Sea fleet been forced to leave Sebastopol in Crimea, it's main base in the Black Sea and retreat 600km to Novosibirsk in Russia? How could a country with a mighty navy lose the battle for the Black and Azof seas to a country without a Navy? Does that sound like Ukraine's offensive failed? 🤔
Does Russia have air superiority after 25 months of war? No. How could Russia lose 350+ aircraft and 300+ helicopters 1/3rd in the air and 2/3 rds on the ground, forcing Russia to retreat its air force 300 Km inside Russia for fear of destruction. And all that has been carried out by a military with a limited air force, while waiting for F22s from allies. Just think what will happen then! All that has led Russia's mighty air force to stop flying in Ukraine airspace and rely on Iranian drones! 🤔
And then there's the land battles where Russia occupied 27% of Ukraine in 2022 and now only occupies 11% in the east and south of Ukraine having been forced to retreat from Kyiv, forced to retreat from Kharkiv, forced to retreat from Kherson, off 170,000 sq km of Ukraine, by a country with an army 12 x smaller than the 2nd biggest military in the world! And in the last 20 months Russia has captured just 220 sq km.
The problem with people like you is myopia, and the inability to see more than one dimension of Ukraine's offensive.
If you think Russia is winning, go for it, that's your prerogative, but the facts indicate differently.

Unfortunately, I have to agree from a military standpoint. Russia's war of attrition reveals a dangerous lack of innovation and daring. That's not good enough if NATO decided to go hot on this.
The political backstory of WHY this war is happening tells a very different tale to what the masses are being told, though.
Does the black sea run fast?
This insistence on being allowed to strike Russian soil. The US supplied roughly half Ukraine’s weapons. The other half was supplied by everyone else, in fact, Russia “donated” heavy weapons. So Ukraine already has permission to cross the Russian border with these. But they don’t.
The other part is for Ukraine to produce their own arms. They can do this with support from individuals and private companies. Ukraine not only becomes more self sufficient, they also dig in hard with innovation.
Here’s something I was concerned with. Ukraine would innovate on drones, then “test” them on the battlefield, then mass produce them. That’s perfectly logical. But as soon as you use them in battle Russia starts creating countermeasures. Better to innovate, test them in secret, then mass produce them. THEN send out 4-500 of the new drones in one night, wait 2 days and do it again on new targets. Then send a third wave. You can’t do that with ATACMS. There aren’t enough because they are too expensive. But cheaper locally built drones can do this.
Another idea that definitely sounds crazy is go to Russia and confiscate the big dumb bombs. Then use them against Russia. When you blow up stockpiles, you are using their explosive power against Russia. So take these and send them to local targets near the Russian base.
There must be ways to win this war, to convince Russia to walk out of Ukraine. Thinking of this in “normal” military terms is guaranteed to generate “normal” results aka a long expensive protracted war. The big roll-over of count of Russian troop losses of half a million, likely tomorrow (Saturday) fits our narrative of when they should give up. But it’s obvious it’s not deterring Russia. But something will. Something will convince Russia to stop fighting. We just need to find it. We need to think hard.

I disagree with the Admiral, destroying Russia's Navy in the Black Sea is critically important in fact this is what this war is all about the "Black Sea" and who controls it. By destroying Russia's Naval fleet you stop their ability to launch attacks and supply their troops. It is more than just a "sideshow". Also by destroying their fleet, you have forced the Russians to take to the air where they are doing just as bad.
This is a ground war. Not a naval war. Ukraine could remove the entire russian navy (which is never going to happen) and it still wouldnt change the outcome. Same with the kerch bridge. You dont have any idea what you are talking about. Change my mind.

This is how America won WW2. As someone who has served, I understand the power of being able to launch Tomahawk missiles from Sea it gives your ground forces a major advantage.
