    Tom Mboya never hired any gunman to kill Jomo Kenyatta. That is quite irresponsible of you , James Khwatenge . On the morning of July 5th 1969, Nahashon Njenga wanted to harm Tom Mboya at Panafric Hotel. But the crowd was too much for him. Tom was a peaceful man who never harbored murderous ambitions.

    From the Khwatenge interview on Iko nini I've realised that;
    He is well connected to the upper echelons of the Kenyan society
    He might be bitter he never got out with so much wealth
    He is here to paint the true picture of the history of Kenya as a historian not as a spy
    He never talks so much about his role in the whole history but as a witness
    I enjoyed this thank you for having him on the Pod

    President Kenyattas fueneral had been planned nine years prior , and one of the reasons Moi easily outwitted his enemies is that he had gone to England nine years prior and had gone through the funeral of a head of state still in power..And when the President died Moi did a fantastic job that everyone was awed so that really helped him.

      The bit on T.J. Mboya, having hired the same man who later bumped him off, to kill Jomo Kenyatta is but old special branch disinformation hogwash; a historical rational for assassination of Mboya by ethnic bigots. Khwatenge might have picked up the info planted on SB files by his superiors who must have been involved in that heinous deed.

    He wasn't factual on the Mutula issue, at the time of his death he wasn't a Minister. Jubilee had just come to power and he was the new and first Senator of Makueni County. While one would say he used Viagra, it's a simplistic way to look at things. Don't forget he was in the know of the whereabouts of all I.C.C witnesses and privy to evidence the state had against the same witnesses. Plus the comments he had made prior to the elections and after the elections one can't fail in seeing the nexus to his death(killing)

    But what problems do people have with Subas being Bantu? Its clear in History that Subas came from the royal family of Baganda Kingdom after there was a coup that saw killing of the King Junju in the late 1770s. They then escaped via Lake Victora and settled in the Rusinga and Mfangano islands. They also went Mainland in the Mbita and Gwassi Hills area. Some sections settled in the Migori area. But of course, Luos had already settled around the Lake Victoria region. And so they intermarried with the Luos and stayed there peacefully to date, assimilated, though not fully. There are also Suba clans in Luhyaland and amongst Kisiis, according to some people.

    • @joshuaombaka3116

      @@lekis5975where dd you hear these from? Mboya was identified by British but was a great friend to Americans. As per tge historian Munene, When Mboya died American flags flew half mast.
      Pinto was a socialist, and a friend to Jaramogi. He can't be a CIA agent. The USSR would know.

    • @lekis5975
      @lekis5975 17 днів тому

      @@joshuaombaka3116 No I wasn't saying they were agents. I was saying who took them out. MI6 eliminated M boya because he was gravitating towards the USA, building ties with the USA. The Kennedy Airlift pissed off the British, hard. They didn't want Africans to learn their education to a high standard, at best they just wanted to produce brainwashed pen pushers. They weren't happy at the number of University scholarships the USA provided (to this day, they are very stingy with University scholarships). . They were providing very few scholarships in comparison to the USA. They knew education was key; people form an emotional link with the country where they go to study, they become allies. So they were annoyed at the prospect of Kenyans bonding with the USA. They felt betrayed by Mboya! Also, Mboya had gone to Accra and came back espousing Black Consciousness (Pan Africanism), and he had also travelled to the USA and bonded with Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. The UK govt was upset because had hand picked him and groomed him, they wanted him to be Kenyattas successor. They knew the power of the man, and they knew he'd have a big impact, so they eliminated him.
      Indeed, Pio Gama Pinto wasa Socialist, and Jaramogi's right hand man to boot. He was the one managing the Russian sponsored think tank in Nairobi. The USA took him out partly because of his Socialist leanings, and partly because he was advising Malcolm X to cite the African American struggle as a battle for Human Rights, and not Civil Rights. In the aftermath of the 2nd War, the Holocaust and the Nuremberg Trials, the notion of Human Rights was firmly anchored at the heart of legal jurisprudence. By citing Human Rights, Malcolm X would be able to take the Black American struggle global; obtain international support sufficient to embarrass the USA govt and hopefully get them to stop discriminating against, and oppressing Black Americans. The USA govt weren't keen for the truth to emerge, because they loved to market the country as land of the brave and home of the free, so the thought of being called out for the hypocrites that they are on the global world stage was the source of much consternation in Washington. Pio told Malcolm, to focus on meeting with and gaining the support of the leaders of the newly independent African and Asian countries, so that they would lend the Black American struggle support at the UN. The European countries would have no choice but to recognize the righteousness of the Black American struggle, more so in light of the 2nd World War and the Holocaust, after all these were the factors that forced them to grant African countries independence (pseudo independence as we now know). The conversation (between Pio and Malcolm) had been percolating for almost 6 years...they first met in 1959, and had become good friends and great allies.
      The American govt was having none of it, so they went for a clean sweep from New York (F Bee Eye took out Malcolm) to Nairobi (See Eye Aye took out Pio).

    Hallow sir, can you comment on the allegation that Ouko did not return with Moi from the US trip as testified by Barack his brother before the Gor Sungu Commission and that his plane arrived almost at the same time as that of Moi and Biwot creating an impression that they had indeed returned together. Also,was Ouko's security and passport withdrawned at the aiport and was he orded to go home as alleged? Some reports also claim that Dr Ouko was picked from his home by Biwot, Oyugi and Anguka plus 3 civilian assassins whom Michael Owiti the civilian Nyanza PC driver had picked, can you confirm these. The white Mercedes Benz that belonged to Nyanza PC is what Selina vividly remembered, did you ever interrogate it's driver, Michael Owiti.

It was on a Saturday and there was a Harambee Function to Raise Money at the Kenya Polytechnic Main Hall and the Live Band in attendance was led by George Ramogi. The Bomb was Detonated when we were Busy Dancing and the Report we received was that nobody goes to town because there is an Attempt to Overthrow the government which was not true.
