In the case of a file service that offers tuning and emissions adjustments for “all cars” what would be the process in regards to damos or map packs. How are companies on standby for their slaves who need a quick turn around on files making it work because it would take too long to find maps manually and I’d imagine there would be a waiting period trying to get an A2L from a manufacturer aswell so would it be a case of get the map pack from stage x as and when you need them? If so what if the map pack doesn’t cover what you need to change for example dpf egr adblue ect. Another question I have is how would you go about getting an a2l from a manufacturer is it fairly straightforward because I’d have thought they would be very protective over them.
It’s complex but not as complex as finding an a2l for all software levels, you generally find that one a2l will do for a bunch of software levels. Oem don’t have out the a2l and even those that get them there are always parts of the a2l that are deleted (a2l isn’t just a map structure it has a lot more info in it then that) you generally find a2l from other people so it’s a case of who you know a lot of the time.
hi, mr Phil , i got a question related with winols. well i got a version 4.0 but suddenly it stoped to save o letme modify or export files , the items menu are unactive, i dont know if i did somethig wrong, do u have a ny idea why did that? thanks a lot
Sounds like its defaulted to the demo version which does exactly that, id seriously recommend taking the jump and going for the winols5 original version from the boys at EVC
I have previously given up using winols because of the 'daunting looking for maps'... and now I have stumbled on this video.. you are a saver lol'
Haha thanks bud! I’m trying to bridge the gap for people!
Finally found channel that actually explains how to use stuff and what its for rather than just show what each button do in winols. Keep it up
