The whole scene with Sophie burning down her house and Ricky fighting the fire is so chaotic but at the same time extremely in character.

@@celestetorres4206 Take a picture of him and reverse search it. If you find it, let me know. I've been looking, as well.
@@MPRRED-oj7th it's a very cute sweater
Did the math on this; Ricky was going about 120 miles per hour lmao
~5 miles from Manhattan to Staten in 2.5 minutes:
miles per hour = miles/hours
miles: 5
Hours: 2.5/60
5/(2.5/60) = (5*60)/2.5=300/2.5=120 mph

Gotta love how fast Kingston went from "I will kill that kid" to "And that's my son, pete"
To be fair, he started out more like "I don't want to but if it becomes necessary, I won't hesitate to kill that kid."
To be fair he did say he always liked him, it’s just after Estoria and Pete not taking it seriously the damage he’d done, I can see kingstons perspective. I do think it’s cute they’re new dynamic tho.
Also, it's not like he ever said he wanted to kill Pete. He would just be willing to kill him if he got out of control, which at the time seemed like a possibility.
I imagine the simplest version of his thoughts would be: "This kid could be a big threat to my city... But he's also _part_ of my city." The instant Pete proved he had any capacity for change and improvement, Kingston's Populi nature automatically kicked in to give the kid anything he needed to make those changes and improvements stick. Of course, what Pete needed more than anything was a genuine Dad.
@@conspiracypanda1200 I feel like no one is talking about how damn cool Kingston is (and Lou, the magically charismatic man who pilots this Vox Populi). Just knowing everyone in the city, being there, being supportive, mmm would love to know/be someone like this
So this is what Brennan meant about Emily Axford. I cannot imagine gaining the spell "unseen servant" and thinking "...I could use this to commit insurance fraud"

Wally is my favorite. Every scene with him is so pure.
So innocent it's painful

_Cut to Sophia, who set her entire house on fire, and still walked in with an uncooked christmas goose_
Emily's way of backdooring into clairvoyance is absolutely amazing and genius
@Shaun O'Brien The deli's more than 60 feet from the house, so that fire is a no-go with the Rules As Written, too. I wouldn't allow these in a longer-lasting campaign because of the likelihood of repeated abuse, but in a campaign as accelerated as this one it's not as big a deal.
There's some pretty clear nonverbal communication between Lou, Brennan and Murph indicating that they all know this move isn't actually legal, but sometimes as the DM you let things go because your players are being creative and it's just fucking fun.
@@bigdream_dreambig I’ve noticed in the main campaign( the academy one) he’ll correct off camera(I’d assume after research),but in these he’ll go by the seat of his pants because it’s fun
Yeah, nothing about that spell combo should have worked but Brennan Rule of Cool'd it. He could have been a jerk and had Sophia's family watching TV in silence or doing something else mundane for the hour the spell lasts.
I love it so much HUHU
That moment when Esther’s Grandma and Mom try to reveal the darkness in Ricky’s heart and it’s just pure light and they’re like “OH COME ON THIS USUALLY WORKS” was fucking hilarious

Kugrash respecting the gnomes when everyone was making fun of Brennan for not being able to say the book name was a super underrated moment
Imma be real honest, I forgot Pete wore a cowboy hat and bringing that back into my mind made me laugh for a solid 10 minutes. He’s so iconic
I’m imagining the gym scene with Ricky where he’s lifting weights just with the hat on

He's not wrong.
Because of that line I turned to the dictionary, learned a new word and burst out laughing - Brennan is awesome :)
I thought the same exact thing.
I wholeheartedly believe everyone has met a Seven
louie’s laugh is so nice to hear??? like it makes me smile if that makes sense
Yeah, infectious happiness
Brennan is SHINING here. 53V3N and Wally were absolute genius.
emily is too good at this i swear she figured out ¾ of the plot herself
Sofia Bikes is honestly inspirational
Brennan as Kingston's parents is the strangest phenomenon
Because brennan is so white
but I swear I'm related to those characters
The best thing in life is having Emily and Murph sitting in front of each other and seeing their love eyes at each other whenever one of them is having an emotional/genius/funny moment
Brennan as Robert is legitimately menacing. He plays the part so well. The lines, the tones, the wit and charm... just _wow._
Wally's honestly one of my favorite characters in this campaign, he's just so pure and so accepting that his dad's a rat... He clearly ain't the smartest of the bunch but he's not letting that stop him from just being happy, you rule wally
He's the definition of low INT high WIS
Brennan’s characters are so magical. They’re all so immediately endearing and lovable
2:00:48 "Stephen Sondheim winks at you and says, 'Knock 'em dead.' " 🤔 I wonder if that means Misty gets bardic inspiration. I mean, if anyone's a bard, Sondheim must be, right?
Hey i know its been 3 years but you’ll see
“That dragon knew my name!” Is one of my favorites D20 lines so far lol
Emily breaking down laughing when Ricky gave Esther the calendar is great.
