1927 HITS ARCHIVE: Me And My Shadow - Whispering Jack Smith (78 single version)

Purportedly the top-selling early version of this familiar standard. When RCA Victor issued the title on LP during the 1960s they used an alternate take from the same session which is also available elsewhere on UA-cam.
The original 78rpm was issued on Victor 20626 - Me And My Shadow (Rose-Jolson-Dreyer) by Jack Smith (The Whispering Baritone), with Dave Dreyer (piano), recorded in NYC April 28, 1927
