Ren was misdiagnosed a decade ago by doctors. He actually had Lime Disease but they thought his mind was playing tricks and gave him strong drugs and the Lime disease ran amuck for 7-8 years. He is currently in Canada receiving treatment to undo all the damage done. his life was dramatically shortened by the misdiagnosis but he is doing his best to stay in shape and recover all the stolen years past & future. Thank you for your time.
Ren has Lymes disease (bitten by a tick boi) they told him it was all in his mind for 7or8 years. Meanwhile the disease was attacking his body and brain. He is in hospital in canada atm for 6 months while they try to repair the damage so hopefully he can keep making music. He also has ptsd from the effects of meds and misdiagnosis for all that time not being listened to.
If you want to see him truly sing like an angel watch "Chalk Outlines" by Ren & Chinchilla LIVE (he uses a hallways for natural reverb) it's about self deletion, depression, addiction and over prescription or "How to Be Me" by Ren & Chinchilla LIVE, it's about a friend of Ren who self deleted himself on the bridge where they sing.
Although he's suffered from serious mental health issues, including psychosis, they stem from Lyme's disease, a chronic illness for which there is no cure. I won't go into all the symptoms here but they're serious and debilitating and the endless treatments and large scale medication have heavy side effects. It was made even worse by being mis-diagnosed for years meaning Ren's body was ravaged, including his brain and a lot of the damage is probably irreparable. He's a lot better than he was but is still severely limited in what he can do. He's currently undergoing experimental treatments in Canada, which are promising but there's still no cure unfortunately...
Hi my friend when you get time check out Rammstein - du hast - Paris awesome - nightwish - ghost love score - live in wakem 2013 and Marcelito pomoy - the prayer - live on the wish bus all have fantastic fans and will get you some new subs many thanks love and respect from the UK 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel 👍
On the surface it seems like a simple lament of losing one's youth to sickness, but it is a larger criticism of the system at large. While, unlike Hi Ren, he doesn't provide a solution for the problem, he DOES spell out perfectly the way we are destroying ourselves on a mass scale. I love the guy, and thank you so much for reacting to him.
Great reaction and the discussion on the handing out of SSRI is so spot on. I am another who had them thrown at me under the assumption that all of my physical problems were mental. Nope, years later it has been diagnosed as Axial spa, a form of arthritis that fuses up your spine progressively (and has done). They missed some really clear indicators that it should have been treated earlier and it causes so much inflammation and damage, including to the brain. So I totally relate to Ren and agree with you so much that the pressure to churn through patients means GP's can't do their job properly.
so when ren spoke about the medication initially cause he was misdiagnosed for 10 years they were feeding him tablets that werent actually working for him so they were just telling him to take the medications but now that he finally got his proper diagnosis he is getting the proper treatment he need and has been for the last year. also its england and the english gov that have been cutting the NHS budget which subsiquently affects the scottish, welsh and N Irish NHS funding decline because its based on what the english gov spend
Late to the react and newer to the channel. Sub'd first watch ago. Need to run through your history since but you really also need to watch his busking w his mates in the band The Big Push. Their busking on the streets is a diff vibe, a [edit] "ligther" feel, and even though the band has parted there are still some collabs. You need to watch his Big Push busking to really see how he performs in less produced work... though his LIVE acoustic take of For Joe is middle ground.. high quality but solitary and it tell you a lot about the man. The man is doing things I've never seen in my decades. I'm grateful to witness this in real time. Peace and Love to You and Yours.
Great review.Looking forward to the Trilogy,Chalk Outlines Live is a MUST . ( Chinchilla doing Finger Live is another MUST ) . His band The Big Push doing I Shot the Sheriff is just amazing...then there are about another 180+!!!
Hi my friend a few for your list Rammstein - du hast - Paris awesome nightwish - ghost love score - live in wakem 2013 and Marcelito pomoy - the prayer live on the wish bus will get you some great view's love ren many thanks love and respect from the UK 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel 👍
Ren has produced more meaningful messages through the music on his channel in the past few months than f***ing Sony have in the time since they unceremoniously dumped him.
The only thing I would say is that human beings are not parasites we are people. People with names, families and friends that are just trying the best they can to survive and try to enjoy the life we have. Yes there are bad people among us that seek power and control but its not human beings that are the problem its the system and those that control it.
Thnx for you healthy insight in the not so healthy NHS in Britain.... How is it possible in a rich country as the UK appears to be. Dear politics...go for true solutions...!
You talked about not really being able to hear the 'doctor' well at the beginning and I thought the same. Someone else pointed out that it could be purposeful, that he's muffled that voice a bit on purpose because of all of the other noise surrounding him, either outside or in his head. Or he's just sick of listening and nothing really makes sense anymore because he can't concentrate and hear what's being said. I thought that was a good point and something Ren would do that was subtle and yet effective.
@@LeahReuben The captions actually work pretty well on this one. Usually they don't, especially when he's rapping fast, but it'll give you a good idea in this case. 😉
It may be falling apart, but financially ruining you for years because of the cost… which would you prefer? I am not sure, but I think there has to be a better way.
The scary thing is- when my dad was ill, the NHS was so bad so we had to raise money for private care and the difference was insane. Of course everyone wants the NHS to thrive but I think the higher ups are purposely making it collapse
The NHS is being systematically destroyed by the Tories, because they want to replace it with their own system (similar to the crap they have in America). Doctors actually only have 10 minutes slots now. They're overworked and over-stressed, which leads to all kinds of problems and terrible mistakes. I'm still waiting for a prescription from over a week ago, because my doctor keeps forgetting. Same with referring me to a neurologist and pain management clinic. He forgets to do things all the time.. But unfortunately he's the only doctor I've found who says he will actually refer me. The rest just wanted to put me back on anti-depressants, all of which have made me much worse, because the way they work is based on a chemical imbalance theory/hypothesis about depression. Which may hold some truth for some people and certain types of depression (although there's no hard evidence), but certainly not all. Sadly there are way too many unscientific assumptions in the medical health industry. And yet our crumbling system is still much better than they have in America...Well, apart from the separate private system for rich people. I would've seen a neurologist 25 years ago if I had the money.
@@LeahReuben Yeah, it started back in the 80's with Thatcher. More recently Cameron and Boris co-signed a book openly stating their plan to destroy the NHS. Tories never wanted it to begin with. That said, I don't support or trust Labour either (they've been just as bad since Blair - if not before), but the destruction of the NHS was always a Tory plan.
