So glad he was willing to sell it back! He's a true car guy and understands what the Bronco meant to you. I look forward to seeing this "Rust Bucket" 😁 back up and running one day.

can't wait to see more from this new restoration project, the Willis Jeep restoration project was what originally brought me to your channel! G'day from Australia!
I got a 66 that was 98% restored. The only Ford I wish I still had. Loved that and wish I still had it. Couldn’t imagine what it would be worth now. Those broncos would go anywhere. Can’t wait to see what you do with it
With the parts available now you can get all the parts and put a new body together on it buy a complete new body or try and cut out what rust you have, Great that you got it back and doing it for Dad.
Sorry I’m late commenting. I normally don’t watch your videos but the bronco caught my eye. The top is a Kelly top made by the Kelly Mfg Co. in Springfield, OH in case you didn’t find out.
I am so so happy the bronco is back. I understand you had to do what you had to do but man I was so sad when I found out you sold it. These things hold a special place in my heart ♥️ #TheBroncosBackBaby Woooooooo
Man. Josh happy for your find. My dad had one in the early 1960. Great show don’t forget the jeep. Old Marine like to see it fixed. Thanks again from my hill top in. Sc
Wow, that is awesome. I had a 68 as well and my kids drove it because insurance was cheap, all girls. Sure would love to have mine back. Looking forward to the journey of restoration! Love your channel
I had a 1973 & a 74 Bronco years ago. I miss both of those ol' girls... Good luck on the restoration, looks alot more solid than one would expect for the age.
A friend back home found his dad’s Bronco, that he learned to drive in, but his dad sold just before he got his license in 1974. Bought it, restored it, and has won a bunch of shows. I’ll email Josh a photo if he’d like to show.
I know some folks will scream, but I've had really good luck spraying down bare metal with silicone spray. Just make sure you wipe everything down with alcohol it remove it before any paint... Have fun, gonna be a bunch of work, but family legacy's can't be replaced... Thanx !
When I turned 16 in the late 1970s, i wanted one of these first generation Broncos so bad. My dad, brother, and me looked at many of those Bronco’s. They were only 5-8 year old used trucks at the time. Ultimately, got a Jeep CJ-5 instead…. but those Broncos were so cool. Glad you got your dad’s Bronco back. Hold on to this family heirloom. How can you not be a Ford guy… you own first generation Bronco and a Raptor? Two very cool Fords 😜😜.
I have some new door skins, a front quarter panel and a winch bumper left over from my Bronco build if you're interested in buying them. Still in the boxes they came in, nothing wrong with them, just didn't end up using them.
Man that is so awesome josh to get that back I've been looking for my dad's 1965 ford step side he sold it years ago probably never find it but if I do and it's for sale it definitely will be coming with me
I love the Broncos but I found and bought four International Harvester Scout 80s that I hope to do a series of videos on the restoration of two. Great videos, man, love it.
Hey Josh thank you for the video and yeah that bronco needs a lot of work that's for sure but I know it means a lot to you and your family I just wonder if it was that bad with all the rust before you sold to that guy
I remember looking at one back in the mid 80's that had so much rust in it that someone had literally fiberglassed the doors back onto the hinges. They were as bad as a Jeep to rust.
Glen Villeneuve, from Life below zero fame, has a custom converted van that he got from a place in NC. Maybe that van you seen came from the same place.
never seen a top like that, had a hard top on mine and sold to guy to pay for a soft top. check out jeffs bronco graveyard, toms bronco parts, James duff, so many of them but those are the supply guys I used back in the day for mine
Dang, I just watched your erosion video from 2019.....things are looking up for you. You've lost about 50 pounds, got a $150K shop and a hell of a lot better equipment than from a few years ago. Would you mind going back to that ditch you put the sausages (waddles) in so we can see how they have faired. I've got a heck of an erosion problem at the moment.
the ditches are growing grass....if you do what I showed ya and keep having washing issues...try adding some composted cow manure and silt fence until you get grass on the spot...grass...weeds...anything to hold the land
The lite brown lifted van Americans call them Chevrolet vans in Britain we called them Bedford CF Vans we made them into ice-cream van's the late 70s to late 80s just a bit of auto knowledge 👍🏻🇬🇧
Best way to move forward is to remove all of the parts from the body and send it to be dipped to reveal all of it's structural problems. Then buy all re-manufactured body parts and have a professional weld it back together. Too complicated for a non-professional to get it done correctly.
@@1guyin10 I thought he sold it off a while back. I could be remembering wrong. Funny thing is, that's the whole reason I started watching this channel. I was really interested in the Willys build and then it just disappeared and I keep coming back for more farm stuff. 🙂
I'm surprised that you didn't just take your trailer and one of your trucks over there and get it and save that tow fee. Broncos are so light you and the guy cound push it to turn it back the trailer down the drive. Come along up into the trailer and use the savings on epoxy sealer.
