Hello my younger brother and sisters i am your senior currently doing Phd in chemistry just want to tell u all dont get demotivated by these numbers it is just a stepping stone when u grow old u all will come to know that these marks were not very important
So a friendly advice now forgot what all happened in your boards now move forward and look for getting a college because trust u will get job only by your skills not by these marks so now be happy and enjoy your new college life ❤❤

Hi i am writing this to all my junior who have not succeed to score above 75. I scored 71 % in 2023 boards and took drop and prepared for jee i scored 93 percentile in april attempt and now my 12th percent is near about 81 % i filled the private candidate form to appear in more than one subject. so don't demotivate yourself i know this is hard but i know how it feels i will suggest you guys to focus upcoming things like improvement and other competitive exams

For people who sat for board exams through CBSE and are thinking of applying through NIOS, don't because in the JEE ADVANCED 2024 Information Brochure it is clearly mentioned (in maybe page 41 or 42) that marksheet of any other board other than the one you gave in class 12 is not acceptable for improvement. So, for people scoring less than 70% in CBSE boards, I would suggest you take a drop and also improvement next year. The exam will be held in March with other 12th standard students. You can also choose multiple subjects if you give improvement next year. If your score is in between 70-74.9% you can try for improvement this year, but only for 1 subject. For better information check the CBSE FAQ section and JEE ADVANCED Information Brochure.
By your logic even state board students aren't eligible for JEE Advanced. Please do not mislead students.

Applying using marksheet of NIOS won't work if you have been part of any other board before. In JEE Advance requirements it mentions that marksheet of any board after you have passed senior secondary education (which is class 12 in this case) is not valid unless it is the board which you passed from.
That means if you have passed class 12 from CBSE then you have to attach a marksheet from CBSE, no other marksheet will be valid.

Ofc, it is.... if u score less than 40 then 40 will be considered as your mark...
I secured 76.6% because of health issues during the time of examination and now am going to apply for improvement examination for PCBM, if my total goes below 76.6%, i will keep my original marks(the better one in this case).
Ofcourse, I got 71 but only 56 in maths so I'll just have to increase 20 marks for 75 which is quite easy
