Just came across your channel. It's interesting to hear your take on language learning. I've only been to Paris once and am already planning to return. I've been using Duolingo and have learned a lot, but the conversation part is definitely lacking. I am happy for you that you were able to spend time in Paris. It's definitely an experience of a lifetime.
Thank you so much! Paris is such a beautiful and fun city to experience. Be proud of what you have learned and your work with Duolingo!
I love learning too, your intensive group course sounds excellent! I’ve been taking solo classes on italki but feel like I should try some group ones so I can have more conversations.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us and good luck with your learning ✨💖
Thank you so much!! I love iTalki - it’s such a great resource. But there is something special about an in-person class experience!
I moved to Madrid to learn Spanish 😊. It's been tough but im improving.
That’s amazing! Way to make the opportunity for yourself to learn!!
«Journal en français facile» est une bonne ressource. C'est probablement ma ressource préfère
Merci pour la recommandation !
Hi Cat, I'm so glad UA-cam recommended your videos to me. I'm hoping to undertake an intensive course in France but I need to pluck up the courage first! Apologies if I missed you saying this but what was your level of French prior to beginning the course?
Thank you so much for the kind words!! Before taking classes in Paris, my previous French experience was taking classes in high school about a decade prior. Ten years later with minimal practice, I somehow retained a strong A2/weak B1 level. After two months, I would say I’m a moderate B2 level!
@@CatGalletti Pretty much identical to my experience! That's really good to hear, thanks for your reply.
Hi! I've been following your Paris videos...how do you like your language class? I'm going for a month in the fall and I'm taking a 1 week intensive course at Lutece Langue but I want to go back next year for a longer course. I want to get more comfortable speaking.
Thank you so much for watching! I took classes for two months at Langue Appart’ and I absolutely loved it. I actually wrote a Google Review for them which you can read for a more in depth review!!
Which french language school are you enrolled in in Paris pls?
Langue Appart - I highly recommend!
Bonjour Cat. Can you share the language program you are using?
Yes! I took classes at Langue Appart in Paris.
Did you already know some French before moving?
I knew a little bit from my high school French classes, but not a lot!
