Another miniature masterpiece John. I finally started my Airfix 1/24 Spitfire yesterday. I am rewatching your build videos on the Spitfire as I work my way through the kit. Keep up the great work.
Dear John Alec, The time taken to achieve the finish on the Pro Scale paint was worth it! A simple job enhanced considerably- very nicely done! Regards, Z
This vintage Subaru looks amazing, John. Very fine masterpiece with a excellent paintwork. Will look great in a showcase under some lights. Best wishes, Joachim
@@johnalecsscalemodeling No thank you 😀 I'm not one for commenting normally but I always watch your builds and over this last year or so it's great to see your models are just getting better and better 👍
Pretty kewl car. Do like how the shift paint came out. Did you have to use a larger needle size to accommodate the flakes? Also, while I'm asking things, did you get your Mr surfacer locally or online? Having fun trying to figure out best places to get some, especially for primers. Glad you enjoyed. ☕🐢
Thanks for watching Crazy - I used a .350 Iwata for that and no issues. They do carry Mr Color stuff at my local shop but I get all of mine at Scalehobbyist. But they sell out quick. You can set up a notification. Much cheaper than Amzn Cheers!
Hiya Buddy - it is called Trizact. 3M makes it. It's for automotive detailing I think. Not cheap but it lasts a really long time. I got it on amazon. In the States the highest grit I could find was 5000. In the UK they seem to have higher grits. Great stuff. Cheers
