These scenes where Claire meets Mother Hildegard are deeply moving, even though the dialogue is spoken mainly in French one is able to understand the plight of the sick individuals, and the viewers immediately see why Claire feels useful at being able to use her World War Two combat skills in nursing and healing, even though later on Jamie doesn’t share her views quite so readily, Claire is a very determined lady as we all know, and proves to be most useful in her endeavours! but the saddest event in Jamie & Claire’s lives is yet to unfold! thank you for sharing this poignant reminder, very well edited! “👌”
