I feel like FIFA needs a stat squish in UT. There's no room for a proper power curve because all the popular guys get big promo cards early and suddenly there are TOTY level cards before January.

For most arguments that is enough. But when the stats are close, we bring in trophies to identify success with game play.
Also, Ronaldo didn't get "exposed" in the Euro's. We know he is older, and Portugal were expecting him to carry them every round which is very difficult.

When we talk about these four there is a clear understanding of who is better than the other at least as of last season. It's not horrendous, but Ter Stegen and Donna are really riding on the back of the fact that they both play for big clubs
