Your one looks good for an entry level level unit, the pressed out end looks nice and dry. The harder things to press are ginger and wheat grass.. not tried sugar cane, I am sure it could. I found chopping everything in to small cubes helped it a long a lot. Try to get a review unit of the "Kuvings C9500S Wholefeed Juicer", or which ever the current model is, as I got mine in 2017, you'll see a massive difference, but same basic function.
Wow, more than double the price. I think ginger and wheat grass it should manage if chopped up. Sugar cane is some tough fiber, not that we have any sugar cane in the UK tho. I remember in HK they steam or boil the cane first than put them through the metal roller press and chew them out with the juice.
