I loved the Osmonds! I became a fan in 1971..I was 13 yrs old. They were loved by millions and girls went absolutely crazy over them..It was a time of Osmania. I had a crush on Donny Osmond like millions of other girls. The 70’s was a great era. Those were the days! ❤️
I've loved the Osmonds,especially Donny ever since dirt was invented(lol.....they have touch my heart so much for the talent and wholesome family they are.

This is awesome. The Osmonds were so understated back in the day. They worked just as hard and was just as good as the Jackson. Jay was always my favorite. My favorite drummer boy! 🥁💚

I have and will always love Donny Osmond. Donny has a solo residency at the Harrah’s Las Vegas and he played Joseph in Sir Andrew LLoyd Webber’s musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He also done a couple of movies. Plus he has done several albums the one is Start Over.
My first concert (1972), and Crazy Horses was my first album.

Thank you for your kind review of THE OSMONDS. One correction and please don't feel bad because this has been a big controversy since its release in 1970. "One Bad Apple" was written by George Jackson (No relation to The Jackson Five) specifically for THE OSMONDS. How do I know this? In approx 2008 Donny Osmond was doing a solo concert in Nashville, Tennessee. Former President of MGM Records, Mike Curb and Donny had not had an opportunity to visit for several years so I invited Mike Curb & his wife to come to Donny's show. Mike accepted my invitation and Donny was excited to finally see Mike after so many years. After the show we all met backstage and I had the honor to reunite Mike Curb & Donny Osmond. If you're a music buff you would have loved to have been in the same room to listen to two music industry Legends discuss one amazing moment after another. Then, THE Question was asked by Donny, "Was One Bad Apple written for the Jackson Five?" Mike Curb smiled and said "No. The Jackson Five were extremely hot at the time having earned three consecutive number one hits on Billboard". Mike went on to say "He contacted Producer, Rick Hall at FAME Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama to come to Vegas to hear THE OSMONDS. After hearing THE OSMONDS song, "Mowtown Special" Rick found a phone and called his Company Staff Songwriter, George Jackson. Rick instructed George to write a song that sounded like The Jackson Five's song "ABC". George came up with, "ONE BAD APPLE". In 2016 I began hosting "THE OSMOND HOUR" on myBNR.com internet Radio. I decided to dig a little deeper and get as much evidence as possible to prove "One Bad Apple" was actually written for THE OSMONDS because even though both Donny and I (and a few other people in the room with us) heard Mike Curb share his story with us, there is always someone who will question what we heard that evening so I decided to do some more research. Sadly George Jackson and Rick Hall had passed away so I asked Rick's son, Rodney Hall about the actual history of "One Bad Apple" and Rodney confirmed what Mike Curb had shared with Donny and me. There was one more person I knew who might have some insight on this big musical mystery and that person was Bob Wray. When you listen to "One Bad Apple" listen to the bass. Bob Wray played bass on the original recording of "One Bad Apple" and several other massive OSMOND Hits. Bob knew songwriter George Jackson extremely well and of course they worked together in the studio to get the music recorded for "One Bad Apple". Bob was also confident that George wrote OBA for The Osmonds because of all the time they spent together and conversations about songs George wrote for FAME Studios as a full time writer. "One Bad Apple" was Mike Curb, THE OSMONDS and Bob Wrays FIRST (of many) Number One hit.
*Update: I had the pleasure to work with GRAMMY Award winning Entertainment writer and author Mr. Rob Bowman. Rob knew George Jackson very well back in the late 60's / early 70's. Rob was confident OBA was written specifically for The Osmonds. Thank you for allowing me to share. By the way, Donny Osmond now has his own solo Las Vegas Residency at Harrah's and Jay Osmond has just released a major Broadway style show titled "The Osmonds, A Musical by Jay Osmond" that is currently on tour in the UK and Ireland thru 2022 with future plans to bring it to Canada and The United States! I love Merrill's edgy voice in all his songs, and I love the combination of Merrill and Jay singing Crazy Horses - one of the best rock songs EVER!! It's also my favorite album!!
