And that guy in blue with orange, he is Jung Hoseok aka J-Hope. He is the dance leader of BTS. Mic drop is a powerful performance, please do check their other live performances like Idol, Fire, Fake love, and more. There are more on UA-cam. They are very easy to find. Because they are Kings. They are Legends.

The song, Idol, they said it themselves, that they incorporating South African and Korean traditional beats, and they spiced the choreo up by adding up Gwara gwara dance as well. And this performance at the MMA 2018 really showcased those cultures. You will be blown away by it.

I've been watching their BANGKOK concert and they are working singing & dancing as if their lives are on the line. They are all so talented.
They're amazing during concert performing for 3 hours with very short/no breaks at all. They always give their very best effort for the Army.
Their main choreographer is Mr.Son but quick silver and keone Madrid has also choreographed their songs

Jhope, the guy in orange who was doing the shoot dance, is BTS main dancer and was in a street dance crew before BTS. They have their own choreographer and also work with choreographers around the world, but Jhope is also able to contribute some of his own choreography and is in charge of keeping the group looking tight when their own choreographer isn't around. Their choreographer has been with them for like nine years since before their debut and also like a teacher and father figure. BTS is a really close knit group but they also have a really close and hardworking team behind them that allow BTS to reach the level and quality they are at now. Pretty much all of whom have been with BTS before they were famous.
Another note on Jhope is that he did the best version of the "In My Feelings" challenge you have seen! And it (along with others) was put into Drake's official music video and then BTS fans blew up the entire comment section with "J HOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!" Which is kind of inside joke 😂
They do have a choreographer to their move. Also, they have a dance leader as well. His name is Jhope, the guy who did the shoot dance. He is in charge of the dance and their performance.

They are used to practise for 16 hours a day
That was at the beginning. Now they used to practice around 6 hours.
@@Xeverti When there is concert they practice around 16 hours coming from a Back dancer of BTS but they never talk about daily practices now .... we never know
@@skii239 they definitely do not practice 16 hours per day now, because simply they schedule is too buisy for that... They don't have time to practice that much.. And they are more experienced now and have better stamina so they don't need to practice that much. They said that when they are preparing for new comeback and learning new choreographys they do practice more than normaly that's normal.

We watched their concert in Canada and their performances were all phenomenal! Two hours of amazing singing and dancing! It’s was so great that we are watching them at the MetLife next month damn the price tag!😊

To answer your choreo question, when they first started out their choreographer was Keone Madrid. He is best known for world of dance. He is one of the members of Kinjas on Americas Best Dance Crew. Another Choreographer they have is Sung Deuk. Watch the UA-cam video "A guide to BTS Choreographers".
They first started out with Mr. Son but yeah they been working with
Keone for a long time.

This is song is from their 2017 Love Yourself : Her album which is the first album of their Love Yourself Series (L.Y. Series)
Jin and V are the only two members who really have any musical background so they had to work twice as hard, even most of them!
The one you were talking about is JHope but when baby boy is here in the states he becomes just Jay!!! LOL YES!!!! you will notice a lot of the same dances the big name choreo people always borrow from one another. Thats how dances get around unless its that kinda dance move that they make a challenge about. That same member Jhope was in Drake's video for in My Feelings doing the KeKe dance lol. Oh and Hope is the main dancer of the group. He started out street dancing. One of the member who is the youngest his name is Jungkook or Kookie was actually sent to America to learn to dance with feeling if that makes sense, their CEO Hitman Bang thought that Kookie could dance BUT he couldn't do like you or see Jay do right now give "FACE" give "ATTITUDE" and most importantly give "HEART" And now when you see Kookie break it down baby boy goes all out!!!! Keep up the good video content!!!

RM gets inspiration from everywhere. He mentioned in an interview that he watched President Obama's speech where he did a mic drop and thought about the message. That's where he got ideas to write some of the lyrics for this song.

BTS makes the clothes look good. For example, I don’t think I could pull off the baggy aqua clothes, yellow pants, etc; but BTS can turn these clothes into current fashion trends. Yet, I think I would look good in the outfit that guy with black hair is wearing (shirt with the red flowers, black t-shirt underneath, thin gold necklace, black pants, and sneakers). Can you tell this is the first time I saw BTS’ full performance. Damn! It’s like watching a fashion show with male models who can do awesome choreography and still have the stamina to sing live.
Their stamina is out of this world!!! They have broken three World Guinness Records as of the release of their new comeback album!!! Congratulations BTS!!!

Thanks for your nice and open minded reaction man. it is indeed cool to see dance moves from american hip hop culture making it's way to Korea, I especially like seeing BTS doing it because they have a lot of respect for black culture and hip hop and like to educate themselves on it. it's nice to see non black artists be inspired by the culture without appropriating it.

They have a choreographer in the company but he doesn't really create choreo for them anymore. Foreign choreographers create one (based on BTS' wishes and explanations of the song), then record and send it to them, then their own choreographer teaches them. They have an official "dance line' - J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook. Those three learn choreo first, then might help others (if choreographer is not available or just whenever they want some help) and sometimes contribute their own ideas/moves for the choreo.
MIC DROP was inspired by former President Barak Obama's mic drop speech. ^_^

BTS uses pop dances from yeah a lot of American, but also Korean, South African, and other Asian dances that pop off there but never reach here because we're just oblivious. I feel like Asia is way more aware of what's going on in the west, while we're generally unaware and only care about some of their politics, but ONLY if it might affect us

Belive me it was not the best perfomance from them. Of course they did great but the camera director didn't know what to do with them)) the choreo wasn't filmed properly. But it's always at western shows, unfortunatly. Also they was tired here.
