Die Bauarbeiten für ein Neubau dieser Brücke haben bereits begonnen. Die Ampelanlage bzw. Die Bahnübergangsanlage wurden bereits abgebaut und die Strecke und die Straße sind erstmal gesperrt.
Die Begründung dieses Neubaus ist 1. Der Zustand der Brücke, die leider in den letzten Jahren starke Mängel haben, was der Sicherheit angeht und 2. Dass Fußgänger und Radfahrer auch die Brücke überqueren können. Ursprünglich war die Überquerung der Brücke für Fußgänger und Radfahrer nicht erlaubt.
Der Bahnübergang wird nicht beseitigt sondern bleibt nach wie vor bestehen, bzw. Züge und Autos teilen sich die Brücke wie im Ursprung. Bin mal auf das Ergebnis gespannt, wobei der Bau der neuen Brücke mit über 2 Jahren Bauzeit gerechnet wird.
