039 Meet Bridgett (she/her)

Bridgett's story is full of twists and turns, ups and downs, but she tells it with a smile on her face and joy in her heart knowing that she is who she was meant to be. She has worked many jobs through her life, but owning and operating a construction company has been her main occupation - one you might think is incongruent with who she is, but that, like everything, she tackles with grace. Her story, like all of our stories, is worth taking a few minutes to watch.

I'm so grateful for all the wonderful, courageous people that have shared their stories on the TransCanadaProject 🙏🏻 Bridgett's story is heartwarming and heartbreaking, wow! 💓 I connected with so much of her story, from having many moments of euphoria, to having many moments of "I need to do something different". The realities and responsibilities of bringing another human being into this world and accepting that as the unbelievable precious gift it is and putting aside one's own journey to make that possible, oh yeah that, along with many other parts of her story, had me weeping uncontrollably.
