These look very fun to ride. I think I would actually be scared at first since I've never been in a glass elevator that goes so high and so fast. Maybe someday I'll get to visit this place.

DieselDucy don't d you know that the Polaris at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta has reopened if you want to see it MAKE SURE TO BRING MS318 and your Camera but it may not be opened at the moment so ask ems318 to show you the 23 and 24 buttons cause I actually saw them

I stayed in this hotel Back in December. It was pretty amazing and plus ur ears r popping when goin up those fast elevators.

Car F goes to 46 which is a scary mechanical room with a scary service passage in it and car G goes to 47 which is a desk that controls the security cameras

Congratulations! You have finally visited the world famous glass elevators at the Marriott Marquis in New York. Say is this the flagship Marriott Marquis or is the one in Atlanta the flagship one?
Those elevators have since been modded with PORT. I rode one of the elevators up to the 38th floor in December 2021 and it was really fun. I wasn't able to go to 45 because the elevators are now key-card-evators unfortunately, and I didn't get to go to The View because it was closed.
Is the mod good?
@@DieselDucy For the most part, yes. It is more efficient and less glitchy, than the old M10 system, but I don't like that the elevators are now keycarded with the mod, so you now have to stay at the hotel to go up to 45.

John Frost you enter 55 on the keypad to go there (there is actually no 55 it just takes you to 49)
These elevators were modernized by Schindler PORT in 2019 and key carded too in 2022!

yep those elevators are FAST! their fitness center is BIG.
i remeber filming these a few times and cars F and G do occasionaly serve local floors (seeing as i've never filmed the view. but i have filmed both cars mentioned above and if i recall they both go to the lobby
they use these 2 elevators as express service when the restaurant is open.

the 55th floor is floor 49, you just type 55 to go there. This isn't recommended as that is office, etc. space regardless and they may get upset with you

You and I are the only ones that I know of, as almost all videos are of G. The popular 10:30pm run I rode G, the 6:15am run, I got F.

These have since been modernized into a PORT and Miconic 10 combo.

and now it's likely PORT only since 2022/2023, the newer Miconic 10 model was actually just temporarily installed as a backup just in case PORT systems wasnt working properly, such as handicap mode button does nothing (seen that on few videos through). It was fixed now and the temporary Miconic 10/ID keypad was removed. The service elevator was also modernized from the older Miconic 10 model (black keypads) to the ID/newer Miconic 10 model with the high-res LCD screen.
That's were I'm going.

Back in May 2021: Yes, because security would let guests only.
2022 (going next weekend): Not anymore. However, they badged off all the floors (except 8 and below) according to a phone call my mom had with them and the UA-cam community. The restaurant on 48 is temporarily closed. Also, they are a very photography friendly hotel!

@@Ih8kone Yes it's just the hidden code for 49, but the systems has been modernized to PORT now, they don't need to hide it under floor 55 anymore, they instead locked it out with a keycard, according to other commenters.
