    Two people are being affected, the "customer" and the "merchant". Even though we signed an Arbitration Agreement with Stripe...our customers did not. If you are in good standings with the customer who funds have been frozen, have them contact an attorney and see if collective a class-action lawsuit can be filed by them.

    You need to file a complaint with the Regulatory Agency for Stripe: [Stripe Payments Company (SPC) is licensed and regulated as a money transmitter by the New York State Department of Financial Services. Stripe also has regulatory permissions from the Central Bank of Ireland to issue electronic money, execute payment transactions, and more.]
    Stripe considers legal and regulatory complaints to be executive complaints, and these include:
    Complaints from a private practice attorney or lawyer acting on behalf of their client
    Complaints from a federal or state attorney general
    Complaints from a federal or state government agency
    Complaints from someone threatening to take legal action against Stripe, a banking partner, or the platform
    Complaints alleging unfair or deceptive acts and practices (UDAP), discrimination, consumer harm, or legal concerns

    HI Maria, what happens with the money after the maximum time they can keep my money frozen and do not unblock it until that time?

      At this point, you need to get in touch with them about releasing your funds. Don't keep waiting.

    Hi Maria, I followed all these steps in the video and stripe still has not responded with an actual human. What should I do now?

    • @uncensoreddirectmarketing

      @eonbreak, did you send a tracked letter to Stripe? If you did, then you can look to see who signed it. You can find them and follow up (linkedin is a good spot to find the person).
      You can also have a lawyer send a demand letter, depending on how much they're holding this might be a good way to go. If budget is an issue you can use a service like legal zoom to help draft something.
      If they deem you were selling something illegal or there is any suspicion of fraud, they will make it nearly impossible to get responses so without knowing the exact reason for your funds being held, I suggest the above as next steps.

      @@uncensoreddirectmarketing Hi maria, yes I sent a tracked letter. I followed your steps today and messaged every person in the company on linkedin by the name of the person who signed for it and I'm waiting for some responses. It feels unlikely that they will respond to my linkedin.
      On stripe, I charged for marketing services and social media management so I'm sure theres no fraud. But even if there is a chance of fraud, can stripe keep my money even after 9 months? no way that's legal right?
      They are holding about $7k and if i go with a lawyer it might not be worth it but 7k is still a lot to lose.
      I'll try legalzoom next. But hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel after 9 months.

      @@uncensoreddirectmarketing Hi maria i sent them a letter and tracked it. I got the name of the person who signed for it and messages everyone with that name i found on linked in. No responses except from and old intern who doesn't work there anymore.
      They are holding 7k so i don't know if it's work it to get a lawyer to help.
      I was not selling anything illegal, I did marketing services for an influencer.
      My question is if they deemed it as illegal, can they keep all the money in the account? Even after 9 months?
      They replied with this email today:
      If you have a balance on your account, payouts from your account will remain paused. We will also begin issuing refunds on eligible card payments within 5 days from the date of your rejection, although they may take longer to appear on the cardholder’s statement. Please refer to your dashboard for a list of the charges that will be refunded. If this 5 day period has already passed, we will not be refunding additional charges.
      And If a balance still remains in your account after all eligible reversals have been processed, it will not be made available to you, in accordance with Section 5.6 of "Stripe Payments" under "Stripe Service Terms" in the Stripe Services Agreement (if you are in a region outside of the US or EMEA, this policy should be referenced alternatively under "Section C: Payment Services" of your region's corresponding Stripe Services Agreement): stripe.com/legal/ssa#services-terms
      Can they keep all my money past 9 months if they wanted to and if they deemed my services illegal?

    • @uncensoreddirectmarketing
      @uncensoreddirectmarketing  7 місяців тому

      The MATCH list is tricky. A merchant provider can't really get you off the list, a lawyer can. If you know why you're on it, you can contact the processor that put you there about removing you.

    • @uncensoreddirectmarketing
      @uncensoreddirectmarketing  5 місяців тому

      It's probably best to keep it active because that account has the link between the frozen funds and your bank. You should contact them every month requesting a portion of the funds back until it's negligible. To avoid those issues, you also need to open a real merchant account. What is your industry? You should get in touch with me and my team so we can help you further. My email and contact info is in the video description.
