If you'll pardon this absolute essay I got here, as I'd love to make some of these points in a video of my own but they wouldn't let me use my GoPro with a chin mount:
    1. Thanks for the kind words! I've never driven a kart in conditions even remotely resembling these, like, not even TS Stoke was this bad in the ways of traction. So to bring home a P3 in these conditions was a personal achievement.
    2. As a subject matter expert in going sideways into barriers, those two crashes after the sweeping left looked like they hurt, God damn.
    3. I was absolutely cackling both then and now when I tried to let you through for an unlap attempt only for you to drop it at the exit 😂 that's my personal revenge for all those Kyle Goes Crashing moments ;)
    4. The condition these karts were in was... questionable. The noise my kart made from just trying to turn the steering wheel was diabolical, so to see yours cut out twice was heartbreaking.
    5. During the safety briefing, we were told there was "slight condensation in parts of the track" with the heavy implication that the track would be perfectly fine elsewhere, especially the racing line, so long as you don't go too deep into the corners, as that's where it had all built up. When in reality, the entire track, racing line or not, was covered in it. It was bad enough that the mere texture change from crossing the start finish line was enough to make me lose the back end and spin twice. You don't really expect to start aquaplaning like that on an indoor track.
    6. I entirely agree with your point about spacing out the marshals. Its all well and good having three of them to oversee the race, but when they're all crammed into the same box at the start finish line, and then having to traverse the entire track if someone happens to drop it at the back of the track, which happened a lot, was both unnecessary and a little unsafe.
Another good video, did a great job at encapsulating your frustration, especially from having your entire race ruined through no fault of your own. You've really not had much luck with this place 😅

Damn that was an essay. But no problem bro, you did great in the race. I hope Cannon see's this video and can look past what happened and take on the criticism to imrpove the track.

The fact that someone flipped you off when they passed you when your kart died made me laugh

Such a good video but...Reading those reviews and their replies back is really disrespectful of them. Could've warned you or call you all before you arrived at the place! Joke..😂

Exactly! There was plenty ways around the issue but none of them were taken and we were downplayed and then blamed for a poor experience.

As somebody who's been an indoor circuit marshall for half their entire life (&, no, I'm not joking), the reply the circuit staff provided is not entirely unjustified.
How can anybody be reasonably expected to account for a such a swing in temperatures from one day to the next (or even a couple of hours) especially during the winter months? I'm aware of infrared heaters that can be installed at a given circuit's "danger zones", but even that can only mitigate against so much.
Circumstances like these are specifically why I, as far as can be expected, go out of my way to forewarn anybody about the conditions they're, quite literally, about to face. If not delivered from my own mouth, I make explicitly sure my colleagues do, knowing 1st hand that the difference being even 2 inches askew makes between getting round a corner safely and, to quote Martin Brundle "Heading straight to scene of the accident."

It’s a disgrace them trying TeamSport in a couple days time
Also don’t try team works as I crashed into a corner as not of my fault as brakes wernt working car 13 and crashed barrier straight kart under it and marshal said drive careful pulled in asking for a new kart as it was only me and this other bloke in it and he said no as i can’t change if I had a crash as they clearly hadn’t tested before as design before me and after had the same crash same place it’s got a tight corner at the end of the straight
Enjoy the rest of your evening mate

@@J.m.pNo.43 oh god, well thanks for the heads up and the important thing is you're okay. Brake failure can lead to some nasty crashes. Teamsport can be hit or miss tbh but if you want good outdoor karting, try Midlands Karting in Litchfield. Bit of a drive away maybe but great quality karts and track design.

such a shame aswell, out of the few indoor tracks ive been to cannon raceway is my favourite layout but after seeing this video i dont think im gonna go there again, yh the slipperiness of the track could have been one uncommon thing but the lack of regards to safety and rudeness is terrible
