That is runnable, I've ran with the Solway bore many years ago, and whilst it does get a tad higher further on, it's certainly no tsunami, but people who surf the UKs most popular bore, on the Severn, might want to try the Solway out as well. The River Nith, between Glencaple and Kingholm Quay, both just south of Dumfries, on the highest of spring tides is certainly worth a try for surfers wanting to try a new venue.
