The movie would be greater if they added a proper epic Dr. Strange 🆚 Wanda fight scene. The plot should be like Strange reading the Book of Vishanti and then try to fight Wanda which would have been a perfect ending. Then he should have motivated Chavez to control her powers and then next scenes should have taken place the same as it is.

Can't disagree with this, they hyped the movie too much and set people up for disappointment. Frankly, the only thing I liked in Phase 4 was NWH. It had some flaws but I loved that film. While Hawkeye I found decent. This film was average at best IMO. Great acting, great visuals, and great direction. Only thing missing was a great script, which is the most important thing.
Anything else in Phase 4, either I outright dislike or just don't care about either way.

They completely skipped the Arc of Mordo that was supposed to happen in this Movie becuz of the Ending & Post-credit scene of Doctor Strange. This is why you shouldn't replace the Director & the Story writer while in Production.

I think that's why Scott Derickson left the project because he wanted to focus on Dr. Strange and make the sequel more horror by including Nightmare as the antagonist of the movie.😕

They really did bad with Wanda's character. I don't know how they call themselves 'woke' by basically trying to show that Witches are evil. I heard rumors that after WandaVision's huge success and Wanda's separate fanbase creation in US, Feige wanted her character to be toned down by showing her in VERY negative light. So DS2 went many reshoots around November last year and big changes were made. Earlier a major evil villain was to be behind Wanda's actions, but they simply kept her as the main antagonist so that her fanbase may be broken to give 'room' to Captain Marvel, as Feige wanted her to be the female lead in MCU in future(like Black Widow was in first few phases), and Wanda's popularity threatened this plan as the Captain Marvel film is a year away (bcoz by then, Wanda would've already seem to have been the female lead in MCU). But Wanda is also needed in future projects so they couldn't keep her permanently evil, hence the ending. I really feel they wanted to make Wanda "look" more evil to make people hate her even if that meant sidelining Strange in his own movie.
But personally speaking, after the movie, I still think I will like Wanda as a character more if she becomes a hero again than I like Captain Marvel bcoz Wanda's character has more depth and doesn't seem to be forced ; her actions seem to be borne out of true love and pain rather than just showcasing that she's anyhow 'stronger' than men.
Only stupid thing is he dont know indians speak language other than hindi and put subs at least how can Indians even support this guy

I think the reason Wanda became soo evil, when she had become good after Wanda vision is due to the Darkhold. But there was no indication of it in the movie whatsoever. They could have easily used some visual indicators like they did in Shang chi where we were shown his father hearing voices. Something similar like Wanda hearing her children, would have been a nice touch
That's what was needed some evil entity from darkhold calling her, manipulating her emotions.

I completely agree with u brother. i feel like marvel acted like sony this time, they showed us everything in the trailer like srsly almost everything. story became soo predictable in first 30 mins and because of showing all their great scenes and cameos in the trailers/tv spots it became so easy to predict that "ab next konsa scene ane wala hai". tv spots mein itne cameos dikha diye ki hype kuch aisi badhi ki we all were like "agr ye sab dikha dia hai to ye socho chupa kya rahe honge" and now we realise ki kuch nai chupaya infac sb dikha dia

What I feel is that with the concept of multiverse is that the characters doesn't get attached to us, for example the wanda of other universe if died I wouldn't felt anything at all.

I think some peoples expectation were increased as well as ruined because of so many trailers revealing a lot of stuff but for me I just watch Two trailers first trailer and the TV spot and avoided every single bit of knowledge about this movie that's why I was expecting hardly anything but then to a lot of stuff was revealed in those 2 trailers but then too my mind knew what is going to happen or how but then to I was not disappointed because I avoided everything for this movie as I knew they are revealing a lot than they should. And to all those people who are saying that this felt like wanda's movie than I will say villian of a movie shoud be given a lot of time but the hero should get more time from him/her but in this movie it felt like every character was equal every character was a Hero or every character was a villain but the main Hero was missing. I also wouldn't mind that because we saw other varients of the Doctor Strange means collectively Doctor Strange was given a lot of time but as a view from multiverse they were different. So our main Hero was suppressed between other characters which I expected as a multiverse level movie will show a lot of characters whom they have to give some time, if they would have increased the movie run time then this would not have happened.

Not cool at all Marvel and Sam Raimi. The only good thing about him directing is the little horror elements he added otherwise much of the movie was improvising on his previous Superhero movies, which is not enjoyable at all, forget nostalgia.

The film title should actually have been Scarlett Witch and her Madness with the Multiverse.
I felt the film had peaked just before the intermission and that post intermission it just had to complete what was left.
By the time I got sinked into the second half, it had already started building up for the climax and that was highly disappointing.

Overall the film was all about establishing Wanda's persona and intention with the help of Dr. Strange.

I don't think revealing cameos is such a big factor. Even in no way home we already knew about sinister six but we still enjoyed the movie. Here the problem is that the movie didn't deliver what was marketed

One major thing that triggered me was that strange always had a plan of using the dark gold. The Movie didn't even show the desperacy of Strange to use the Dark Hold even after knowing the Side Effects of the Dark Hold. I feel that strange giving the time stone to Thanos was much better built up. There we could see Strange being Desperate to save Tony.

I Agree to every point u made in this movie. Yes they should not reveal so much via tv spot so that there is nothing left to get excited about in the movie. Most of the scenes were already shown and so many leaks made everyone quite obvious about the movie ending. They should just release 3 trailers with gaps and 2-3 Tv spots with small scene which r expected and leave the unexpected for the audience to get excited about rather than just saying "meh" for the movie. After All its Marvel and they should stick to their old plan of not revealing too much for the audience to enjoy!!

And I also believe that real Multiverse of Madness was 'What If...?', it made its Multiversal Madness in just 7-8 Episodes, while Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness had whole MCU and other Marvel Universes to make a good story...
And also this movie is not about Multiverse at all...
Multiverse was used only and only for the climax scene where Wanda meets Billy and Tommy and realises that she is doing wrong, and even if they remove all other Multiverse Scenes, Story will remain Same, So there was no very big role of Multiverse in the movie...

bhai bat me dum to hai, halaaki I also admit ki iske bad kabhi kis movie se over expectation karunga hi nahi but shayd ye bat bhi sach hai ki wo expectations create bhi studio hi karwata hai or is bar marvel use pura krne me kaafi fail ho gaya.... i enjoyed the movie a lot but same time its like a mixed feeling but I really wish ki next multiverse me ye galti dur ho jaae or kch dhamakedaar dekhne ko mile. Probably one of the reasons why i just love super super and desinerd !

I am happy with the movie, i am happy ki unhone cameos kam rakhe,, har koi movie cameos pe nahi chalani chahiye, wanda ka build up bhi thek tha, wanda vision ke end mei wo thek thek thi, but darkhold ne usko corrupt kar diya tha, and jo dreams aa rhe the uski wajah se usko aur attraction hua bacchon ke liye,, ha thora multiverse ka aur dikhana chahiye tha, but baki sab ke saath i am happy. Aur mene movie spots nhi dekhe the wo ek acchi baat ki thi i guess, actually problem marketing mei hei.

that's what I have felt after watching this movie. We didn't get the satisfaction generally we get from a Marvel movie. fight scenes between wanda and the Illuminati was my worst scene.
Yeah literally wanda took seconds to kill Reed and black bolt and the main thing is that they revealed everything in trailer and tv spot so there was no surprise for audience overall the movie is average

When the movie was announced writer and director where different and director Scott dirreckson planned for knightmare was main villian which expected to see in this movie and accord to his vision we would have seen the original multiverse of madness as i feel. Think of first part of doctor strange n u remember all characters and memorable dialogues like " we don't lose demons we just learn to live above them" the character development and character handled very well. The way he showed the multiverse in first part was more scary and intresting to see than the second part. Changing director and writer was marvel biggest mistake and the more bigger mistake was to keep audience excited the kept the same title of film brought different direction and writer. How would it even gonna work. This stupidness lead to disappointment and as i felt showing illuminates was just a waste of time. They didn't added a fraction of sense to main storyline

They can have done something like when strange comes to wanda for help to save America then she agrees(and she is not the one who send monsters to capture America) actually she is good, but when she comes close to America she sees her powers and see an opportunity to have her children back and dark hold starts to corrupt her more then in midstory she becomes villain and tries to capture America. Then strange and America runs from her in multiverse. Then illuminati thing play out in same way, then wanda captures America same way as in the movie, when strange goes to seek help from sinister strange, he get to knew that sinister strange was the one who send monsters to capture America in the first place to have christin back, but our strange comes to him with a christin so their fight happens in a same way, and rest of movie plays out in a same way.
