- Salvation comes by grace through faith alone. Today's bible study will show that good deeds alone cannot guarantee our salvation. There is a difference between the law and grace better known as the Old Covenant and New Covenant. Let's talk about true repentance and how to know you are truly saved. God wants to meet us through the arc of the covenant at the mercy seat.

I feel so thankful that my husband found you and received true salvation thanks to your teaching of the true Gospel. Now I have received salvation as well as I have become a student of your teaching. It is difficult to understand and try to love our brothers and sisters that are doing bad things because if they Believe that Jesus died to clean us from our past, present and future sins they are saved as well but that just shows how much God loves us and his grace. Thanks, Pastor Johnny, for given us the true understanding of the Gospel.

We do have to do one thing. That is to confess to Jesus that we are sinners, repent and except that Jesus died as a sacrifice (an atonement) for our sins. That’s how simple!

What’s important to note is we do not change ourselves. GOD changes us and transforms us, we need to take ourselves out of the equation and lean on him. What god really wants is to have that relationship with him and to know his word so that we may go out and spread his word as disciples. As Johnny says it’s so simple.

What’s also important is that Jesus fulfilled the law, he was and is perfect which is why he was able to be made a sacrifice for us. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful and loving god.

For those Christian who still believe in doing Work, let me share this with y'all : The reason why I stopped going to church years ago was because I was struggling to follow the 10 commandments ( the law / the works ) in my life. I believe that God will love me more and I can be closer to God through Work. The non believers here in my country extremely hate Christian because they saw Christian didn't practice these Law in their daily life and were labelled as hypocrite community. They always laugh at us by saying '"You didn't practise what you preach. We will only hear about your God until you can 'Do' it." They didn't know that Christian is struggling to follow the Law or doing the Work. Always in sin and repent mode and always carry guilt in life. So now, let me ask y'all : How can you share God's word when you have this guilt in you and always in sin repent mode? If God didn't guide me to Johhny bro weeks ago, I can give my guarantee to y'all that I will never ever open my bible again until I die.

As Catholics we believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and now that we are saved we have to cooperate with God by doing His works...I see most Christians are confused between "works of God" and "works of law".
Faith produces works. If you love God truly you’ll naturally do works and at that point i wldnt even call it works.. we don’t have to cooperate, we want to please the Lord
As Catholics, unfortunately, we believe that we are saved by the law, not by grace. We are taught to confess our sins to the priest. We cannot receive the sacrament of the Eucharist if we don’t confess because we are sinners. We need to change this mindset, we are saved by grace, but the Roman Catholic Church does not see it that way.

Yes we are taught to confess our sins to the priest because Jesus gave the apostles power to forgive or not forgive. John 20:23.
@@therighteousrighthand I'm a Catholic, and we are saved by confessing our sins to the priest, that's not the law of grace. for us Catholics, the interpretation is that Jesus gave the apostles the authority to forgive sins. But, my understanding is that Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, just authorized the apostles to spread the Gospel, and anyone who believes, receives forgiveness. To those who reject, they remain under the power of sin. that's my interpretation. If we accept Christ, and believe that He washed our sins (past tense), we receive salvation. Nowhere in the Bible states that the apostles forgave or had the power to forgive sins. Only God can forgive sins. That''s all my brother.
@@GoToRyansKitchen-pb4jc You have it totally wrong brother. Confession is one of the sacraments administered by the church in accordance to John 20:21-22. Your salvation does not depend on it.
The law the Catholic church talks about is what is mentioned in Jeremiah 31:33 where God will put His laws in our minds and write them on our hearts". The new law is the Law of grace received through faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit continually refines your heart as you progress in your faith journey in cooperation with God who loves us and expects us to love Him through obedience.
I do believe in the butterflies, when I go take walks I always see this same type of butterfly always reminds me of my mother who recently passed. I really look forward to your words of inspiration. It’s soothes my soul. I struggle with my walk with Jesus, even though I know it’s the only way.

God wants people to do actions. If you think you want others to be perfect ( those who does not make mistake as a human being) not going to heaven. We are in a human race, not color race. Read proverbs 1. These days, the new Christians, consistent basic God information people are the ones that God looks at. God did say simple people, if you do not know hardships and do not learn from the wise, God will not answer. God did say life is hard. If you complain more rather than legal accomplishment is one of the requirement to be in heaven. If you actual try try and learn from mistakes that person is perfect.
