Awesome. Proud to be Maltese. Proud of St Mary’s Imqabba even though I am a pyrotechian registered with another factory. Undoubtedly in-nar Malti is one of the most diverse, vibrant and culturally rich spectacles. Each year, each locality celebrates at least one feast (some two) in honour of a patron Saint, with a fireworks spectacles that are spread over a week. So just image from mid May to September when over 70 feasts are celebrated…. Early next year I be publishing a book : Fireworks. The Vibrant Celebration of the Maltese Islands.
i'm italian firework lover, italian school is a masterpiece in the world but I have to admit that maltese reach to another level. Wow cn't wait to visit malta and st. mary in mqabba fest
@@pyroglyphics Haha, tja... Vaak geroepen, nog vaker gedroomd. Helaas gaat het niet meer gebeuren. De passie is de afgelopen jaren zo ver gedaald dat ik de reis en het geld hier niet meer voor over heb...
Every year they Get better at this, and every year they manage to come up with more insane patterns🤤🤤🤤 So amazing! Thanx for sharing! Tomorrow the display in Qrendi?
No, I stayed in Hal Ghaxaq this time to watch them set off their 27" shells that I saw in the factory. I skipped qrendi completely. We saw a bit of their show from mqabba
@@krs-fltutorials4487 Mqabba and Qrendi always do big shows for Santa Maria. It's on the same day every year. There's plenty of information about their Feasts online.
UA-cam...... But this was during a festival on Malta in the Village of Mqabba. Around the 15th of august they shoot these massive displays to both celebrate and commemorate a religious moment ( the assumption of Mary) and the arrival of a aid convoy at the end of the second World war....... Also the next day there is a great display in the Village next to this one (Qrendi) where some huge shells are shot aswell (over 20 inch!) good luck planning your vacation there next year😁👍 (and Just do some more research on the Malta festa's. They usually Come with big fireworks displays because the Maltese Just love them)
Look up Maltese feasts on Google. You'll see that most are around August 15th, St Mary's day. The best fireworks on that day are in qrendi and mqabba. If you're already in Malta, just drive to the firework factories (you can find them on Google maps) or text them directly on Facebook. Once there you can ask them what time their shows are. They'll even let you on the shoot site with them and show you around the factories

@@PyroMax right, can't argue with that😅, 27" is something you don't want to miss either.....
The Maltese make some of the best ghost shells in the world, I would say they are even better than most Japanese built ghost shells…
Great Video... I'll join you next year
