Worked on my 2018 E-450 motorhome, even though it has the simpler display. Thanks for sharing!!
Would you happen to know how the hell to clear the codes on a 1999 F150? Or happen to know why the seat back? I don’t know you. First view here. Love your style. No bs. I was here then I left, now I’m back. Awesome.
You can also hold the select button for 3 seconds to get that menu to go away instead of shutting your vehicle off.
welcome back!
My explorer doesn't have the odometer reset button... can I still do this?
Awesome. Worked on my C-max 2012!
How can I Save the last setting? For example the speedometer
What about 04? Mine is stucx on the same number
Bro thank you so much that is so sweet it works on for cars to🤣
@mcfgotmilk is it possible to get the Speedo to stay as the default screen?
My 2010 fusion dosent even have a trip button..i have to use my steering wheel..and i have the digital odometer
Where you bought it tho
@ 2:12 you skipped right by your continuous DTC codes which read $none, which is your ford code reader like obd2. i believe they are ford codes only but should be able to find them.
2010 f150 mine don’t work m, I just got the tps warning
Can someone tell me when to buy one of thiss plz
how do i get the digital speedometer to say because i have a 2008 ford f150
My 2013 f150 doesn't have a button
I can't get this to work on my 2016 f450 platinum
So I have a 08 Explorer and I do not have the reset button on the gauge but if you hold the reset button on the dashboard it works the same way. :)
We’re you able to get it to show up when u turn the car on normally like it is permanently on the display? I have not been able to get my 07 explorer to do so, the analog speedometer seems to be a bit off. I don’t want my car to be in test engineering mode the whole time
Mine doesn’t have odometer button
Ok, let me see if it works on my model t
GM probably had this too!! (didn't they?)
What about a 2013 Ford Escape
Can u or some one you know or where I can look but I got a 2010 lariat and I accidentally activated the “my key” program do u know how to dis arm besides taking it to dealer??
Locate the main menu on the screen using your steering-wheel-mounted controls. Select "Settings" by pressing "OK." Scroll to the "MyKey" option and press "OK." Search for the option that says "Clear MyKey.
@@mcfgotmillk wooow I just seen this today I’m sorry man I’m going to try this in the morning for sure if this works omg your going to be a life saver!!! Hell yea man thanks ur the man!!!!! I look d everywhere on you tube and I couldn’t find anything you did !!!! Thanks!!!
Hey bud one lil problem I don’t have the push button in my cluster!!! On my steering wheel on the right side I have a row of buttons a same one the left side of steering wheel and where the radio is on the dash the first three buttons say info/setup/reset I’m sure it has to be one of those three buttons
@@deerock619bc i had the same problem for my focus if you find the fuses inside your car usually under the passenger dash where you put your feet you wanna find one for your computer mine was number 66-70 it was 10 fuse pull it out and plug it back in and it should restart your car computer for the odometer
I have a f150 2011 limeted 6.2 . 😢dosen't work
Mine doesn't have the reset button, which is why I ask how
I have a 2014 Ford F150 Super Crew Cab and I have a screen but I do not have a Select/Reset button to push in. I don't have an OK button with arrows on it on the steering wheel. I have the same set up as you on the steering wheel but I have no Select/Reset button to work with. So, this does not work for me.
This is wild!
@@mcfgotmillkanother way to get out of that menu is to hold that trip reset button for like 5 seconds or more, if you do that, the computer will return to normal
How do I keep it on the digital speedometer without it going back
Once you get to the digital speedometer turn the truck on and it'll stay
How to u get it to save on the dash so u don’t have to keep doing it
You may recall he stated it was for going in and doing a test so this is a test function and as such it's not part of their normal operation for day-to-day functions of your vehicle so there is no way to leave it on I don't know why couple people ask for this. If you want to have a little display read out that goes more in detail as to your car Direction heading coolant temperature low temperature alerts vehicle speed excetera excetera use an old Android phone you've got or you can buy a used or new one for very little money you're not buying it for the connectivity of any kind of phone service you're nearly going to be using it to download an app to do what you wanting to do after you buy an elm327 OBD2 Bluetooth connector. I don't see why the $10 ones won't work for you for what you're doing since you're not trying to pull up a bunch of engine codes and stuff which you can also read and reset Etc up once you have the Bluetooth OBD dongle and some of the apps are free some of you pay a few dollars look them up send mom actually pretty cool though even do a heads up display on your windshield so when you're driving in the day or night you don't have to take your eyes off the road and it will show you your speed RPMs mileage Etc but they can get pretty elaborate so you just need to look for yourself to see what fits you and then that way you can have it mounted on your - or in front of the dash with a simple charging cable plugged into it that you leave all the time so it's always there always on you leave the OBD dongle plugged in it won't hurt anything so when you get in it's ready to go every time
Bummed... This doesn't work for my 2011 Ford Fusion 😭 I don't have the odometer reset button so I tried pressing and holding the ok button on my steering column and then turned the ignition switch to run mode and still nothing... 😩 Glad it works for all of those whose vehicles will allow for it to! ❤️ Blessings to all!
Same Here I Tried The Reset Button On My 2011 Ford Fusion But Nothing Happened🤦🏾♂️
@@mantrellbatson1513 😢 I finally had enough of it and went in and had the dealership disable it. $276...smh. On the bright side though, I now have a spare key with fob
@@carterpeel625 What you want to do, if you haven't already figured it out, hold the OK button for 5 seconds before turning the car on. Don't start the engine yet, just turn the battery on. Once the car is on, continue holding down the button until Engineering Test Mode comes up.
Car dont have a gauge button lol. 2010 ford escape
I have a 2012 Ford Escape with the 3 buttons “info” “setup” and “reset” and I just can’t get it to work
Same thing here. 2011 escape XLT. 3 buttons. No odometer pin. How do we do this?
Have you found out how to do this. I also have a 2nd gen escape. 2009 with the 3 buttons
It would work on my 010 f150 platinum
Bro or sucks y’all got a second to the highest luxury trim and y’all don’t have a screen odometer.
I can’t see anything you’re doing because an Expedia ad is plastered across the middle of the screen
God bless yall, Jesus loves yall and He wants you to be saved 🙏 John 3:16 romans 10:9-10 Have a blessed day yall 🙌🙏..
This is freaking awesome! 2005 F150 with base instrument cluster (no tach). I was looking to buy a tach to install, but this trick lets me see RPM. Saved me about $100 and an hour or so in installation. Thank you!
