Amazing castle. I think I would have tried to fly the drone inside😅. Great narration and the video captures all of the aspects of this landmark. Thanks for the tour. Gave a great evening👍💯🐲😍🌹
Proper loving this Scotland tour guys, you know how I love my Scottish castles anyway, and the way you bring them to us all is amazing … Brett full on top gun mode today mate, flying the drone like it’s part of you !! And Alessa like a seasoned pro on the voice over … The castle was a little Beauty wasn’t she !! Shame the tower was closed but stunning anyway … Thanks for the shoutout you really didn’t need to do that, but Thankyou … And I’ll catch you both in a minute in the next premiere of Friday funday … big love guys ❤️🥾⛰⛺️
Thank you so so much for the kind comments always, you're such a legend, we appreciate you always. You have totally given us the inspiration for many of the castle videos, so thank you very very much. We love your channel and you! Always happy to shout you out!
Fan dabby dozey! Loved that one Alessa, Brett, another fantastic video and top premiere, happy Friday! Great information, footage and facts, the golden hattrick! Have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat ☕️ ❤️ 👍 😀
I just love Scotland and these castles, so inspiring through that amazing footage and story telling you guys do! I wanna pack my bags and go tomorrow :)
What a fascinating castle. I think these lesser known buildings are much more interesting than the greater places where there is often too much hype. Thank you for making this place known to me, great video and well researched history.
Hello, dear friends!! Truly an enchanting Scotland Castle! The scenery all around is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful...Amazing hills! What an amazing filming, guys! Enjoyed so much as always. Have a great summer weekend and see you soon! Renata
You certainly had a beautiful sunny day for this tour. Interesting touches to the castle with the pink stone, first time I've seen that contrast with the grey stone.
Hi and thanks, Pinned on Places for sharing. When I examine this part of the inside castle, I realized the materials differ between the stone walls and brick ceiling. BC the restoration? or they are original? ---3:07. The view through this little window is magnificent as if I were back in time and imagine me watching the owner looking outside.---3:54. Wow, I didn't know about red/pink sandstone being exposed to moisture and dirt for a long period can cause mold, fungi, and algae to grow. I would love to visit this castle under the somber sky as you mentioned---7;45. Thank you so much for taking us to one of the superb castles in Scotland. Chì mi an ath thuras thu🙋♀🙋♀🛶🛶
Great video as usual... The Scottish tower houses all tend to look very similar from afar, it's when you get a closer look you see just how unique each one is.
Love the Castle tour, Brett and Alessa. Loved your exploration of these amazing ruins, despite the ghosts wandering. Thanks so much for bringing us along!
Thanks so much Dave and Kathy, ALWAYS enjoy chatting with you! :D you're both wonderful people. Wouldn't like to be there at night...but would love to go back! thanks again, have a great weekend!
Your aerial footage always blows me away! SO beautiful. Those ruins are amazing. Cool that it still has a coat of arms even if its weathered over time. Such incredible structures. I would love to visit these castles so much! Absolutely amazing, thanks for another amazing tour! :)
wow what an another great castle guys!! it seems you had an excellent time in Scotland exploring all of these amazing castles! its great that the keep is still in good shape to look around ☺i hope you can visit some of europes castles! they are all so pretty to see!
Hi friends, with the great weather you could almost mistake this impressive fortress and location for southern France! A very impressive site and interesting history, thanks for the share 😁🏰
What was left was very compact but I loved the spiral stone stirs to the top. Castles like this should all be haunted the things that must have gone on over the years there. Already watch Alan and good to see you getting the good weather he has been missing out on lately lol. Enjoy the weekend, cheers Alan
Ohhhhh Scotland you beauty look at those castle and all that green grass so so beautiful and the history behind it all wow ❤️ thank you for sharing I love love love go watch this sort of stuff 🥰💜✨
That was very interesting, and looks like you had the perfect day for exploring too 😊 the castle looked impress, loved the use of stone in the keep, it looks unique and stands out 😊
Really enjoyed this, sadly when i was in scotland didnt get to see any castles up close, but watching your scotland series make me want get a motor home again.big hug debs xx 🤗
I love all the castles you feature. But, I think this is my favorite. The location is remote and looks isolated. Can you imagine looking out that tower? It’s hard not to fall asleep if you’re pulling guard. 😆 beautiful countryside. 54*North is amazing!
That would be cool! Would of loved to visit the tower hehe, thank you so much, so so glad you enjoyed this one :D and yes, we love Alan (54) what a guy!
Thank you for this video. I thoroughly enjoyed it and picked up some needed info on which Andrew Murray lived there in the 1550 -1600's. The castle is very similar to Huntingtower Castle. The Ruthvens and Murrays were important figures in Perth. The Murrays had been Sheriffs of Perthshire until the Ruthvens were given that position by King Bruce for helping him win the throne. The Murrays were forever trying to become Sheriff again by hook or by crook!
Glad you enjoyed it Sandra, wow! thank you so very much for this comment it really made our day! We love learning about Scottish History and have lots more to come in the following months. Balvaird certainly is a beautiful castle with a rich history from the Murrays, thank you again for your comment and your support!
beautiful location , Fantastic work in the production again guys , you certainly put in the homework on each location, hope you are having a great weekend .
Outstanding video production and such beautiful shots of Balvaird Castle, along with all this interesting information! Thank you for sharing all these with us!👍
really cool footage and lots of history The drone really showed a great walk way view they had I wonder when glass was first used in windows and if this castle had glass windows at the time in use Great video You must have a great weekend LIKE💪💪👍👍
Hi guys, another great video and this is in a stunning location. Loved these isolated ruins with what you said was an atmospheric feel.. shame it wasn't open for you but we got to see so much with what you filmed and especially with the brilliant drone footage. Loved this , thanks for all of the research too and the lovely informative narration. Have a great weekend both :) ~ Anna ❤ 💙
Fantastic video. Love Castles and your video with drone and inside along with historic description has me hooked. Interesting use of volcanic and sandstone rock. I've booked a trip next spring to UK form US so excited to watch more. New fan and sub.🤠

Great video footage of the castle and surrounding grounds, I enjoyed what otherwise I may likely never have got around to see. When you mentioned the heraldry of the Murray family my instantaneous thought was 'Murray mints, Murray mints, too good to hurry mints' do you ever get the feeling we are being brainwashed by marketing, I actually will buy a packet next time I see them 😅✌️
