PDM 60 is exactly what I've been looking for thanks for the great suggestions and the great videos. I think I'll put my pdm in the same spot as yours but with some velcro to secure it down and keep from moving around for sure.
I have my recharge module attached so I can recharge stuff when it is off. It's worked very well for my phone, and action camera batteries, and Sena 20S. I haven't had an issue yet with my battery getting pulled down to the point that it hesitated to start. Pretty happy with that set up, but I like the PDW60 you mentioned. I'll have to look more into that.
Very good solution allowing some customisation. Ambient air temperature would be a good addition but so far I've been unable to find a suitable small gauge.
Great job looks fantastic. I would strongly suggest a foam sleeve or Velcro the PDM to fender to minimize vibration. I have replaced countless modules at work due to separated circuit boards ECT. Now those risers look interesting!!!
Hey, thanks for the suggestion on mounting the PDM60. I will follow that advice. I love these handlebar risers. They are the ROX 2" pivot risers and they really get the bars where I need them.
I hooked mine up in the same general area on top of the rear mudguard/fender. I used windscreen fairing grommet/screws for the holes and when you tighten them up they seal the drilled holes for the PDM60 nicely creating a nice waterproof and vibration absorbing mount point.

Hi Devon, I don't have that bike any longer so I can't make a video. However, I can tell you that I did not have to replace any of the wiring or cables for these risers. I did have to re-route some of them to give enough slack to turn the handlebars to full lock without binding. I changed the routing from running through the triple tree, to coming up behind the triple tree and then up to the handle bars. This change gave the stock cables plenty of room for turning safely. Hi Tony, The drawing was done on "Legal" size paper (14"x 8.5") to fit in the dimensions. You can print it on "Letter" size (11" x 8.5") by selecting "actual size" when printing. It will cut off a bit on each end, but you will get the full plate and the scale will be correct. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

Tim excellent work as always! I have one comment and one question. For the electrical newbies you might mention the the only reason ground goes to the switch is because it is lighted and not actually being switched. My question is how daylight readable is the voltmeter? I have not been able to find any that I could read in direct daylight. My personal opinion is that for a motorcycle the voltmeter need to have a ambient light photocell sensor to control the brightness of the display for day/night.
Hi Terry, Good point on the grounding. The volt meter has good visibility most of the time. Located where it is, the fairing provides shadowing to help. On a bright day if the sun is directly on it, the display is harder to see, but it has not been an issue for me. I suppose a back-lit LCD would be best all around. Your photocell idea would be good too. So far I'm very happy with this setup.

Hey, could I set that pdm to turn off my blinkers after so many seconds? Then reset when I flip the blinkers on again? Used to then going off on the harley. The blinkers on this bike are what will kill me.

Howdy TIm, Just a question regarding your PDM60. I recently picked up one a couple months ago and has been working perfectly up until yesterday when the device just stopped working after I stopped the bike to refuel (both the Denali Soundbomb and my Rigid Duallys werent getting power). Once home I popped the seat off the bike and found it wasnt turning on when switched (wired up correctly as per Rowe Electronics instructions) and apparently it can happen on 'Rare' occasions that the device will lock up and require removal from the bike and re-programming to get it to wake back up. Which is kind of annoying, thankfully it was powering Non Essentials but if someone were to wire it up differently this 'Rare' occurrence could leave you stranded on a ride if you use it to control an essential circuit in starting the bike. Have you ever had a 'Lock Up' of your PDM60 ??
eqjunkie - No, I have not had that happen yet. That would be a pain. I think these devices should always power auxillary type devices. Thanks for sharing your experience. maybe it can help others who see this.

Hey Tim, Love your videos. I mounted the same outlets and the USB fell apart on the first 200 mile dirt trip. Switch out to two plain 12V ports. (cigarette lighter). How did yours hold up? Keep up the great site man.

No, I don't think it's possible to control turn signals with the PDM60. However, you can check with the manufacturer to be sure.
